waste of talent
i got to see billy play in back to back games against the antz. this guy is extremely talented and definitely has too good of a game to stay in this league. the only problem i saw with billy was a lot of immaturity. i had seen a video clip where billy had scored a goal and stopped to taunt the antz bench. in one of the games i saw him play in he scored another goal and then kept bowing up in front of collins to rub it in. i have never before seen a player in this league do stuff like that. he's got game but he doesn't have class.

i'm disapointed that i never had a chance to see him since he joined the league this year, they haven't been to Richmond since he got picked up, still barely remember him from his ECHL days, just remember the name on the jersey.

Tibbetts the Jail Bird
No wonder Tibbetts served 2.5 yrs in jail for assualt and battery plus the 3.5 yrs on probation for RAPING a 15 yr old girl. I bet he blind sided somebody because he doesn't have the guts to fight anybody his size face to face. He likes to rough up the little guys but he runs away from fights when the other player is close to his size. Tibbetts is a PUNK and should be banned from the SPHL and all of hockey.
Google Billy Tibbetts and read about the real THUG that he is. Tibbetts has NO CLASS.

I got a Billy Tibbetts jersey off of ebay for 17 dollars. I think this latest incident makes it worth upwards of 20 bucks now. Keep going Billy!!!

I'm not going to defend Tibbett's actions. But alot of us have screwed up things in our past. If I'd have gotten a NHL contract in my 20s, I'd probably be dead now. So, before I jump on the Tibbetts-sucks bandwagon I'll say that, he has problems like MANY current NHL'ers have. The fact his are publicly opened & outright, doesn't change the fact that he has ability to be at least talented enough to play this game at a level most here only dream of. That said, I'm not condoning his antics but I know those that cast stones here at him live in glass houses. Walk a mile in the guys' shoes BEFORE you judge him, is all I say. Sad part is that, he HAS talent yet it's overshadowed by this bs he gets involved with. I'm sure there's substance abuse & other issues going on that contribute to his demise in every league he gets into. I hope he finds his way else he ends up post-hockey like Probie.
