Antz need changes

i wouldn't worry yet, aside from Huntsville and Knoxville, the other four teams all seem to be having thier own troubles. we've lost all three on the road, Antz look incosistant (which reminds me of them last year early on), the Snakes have to play both Knoxville and Huntsville more than the other three and thats not very good for thier chances, and Twin Cities, well everyone see's thier problems. wether Knoxville is just on a mini wining streak or they have found thier mojo is yet to be seen, and i believe the Huntsville we are seeing now is probally the same team we'll be seeing all year.

i think the gades need major changes also our defense has been horrible and the goaltending not much better oke does not seem to be helping at all a minus 7 in three games is bad i think its only withers and wright who are in the plus i just think this is not a good team hopefully when dan and jozef gets healthy it improves the d and does anyone know anything about spencer bodnar he has been on the injured list all year

i think, not sure, that they are going to release Bodnar when he comes off of IR, but under rules, he is still covored by the team since he was injured during that time.

also wondering about the defense. from looking at who we have, i would say we may have the best overall group of defensemen in the league. but they have been having alot of break aways against them, plenty of times where rebounds aren't being collected with everyone standing around watching. personally i'm not overly worried about it, believe they will come around and have to wonder how of the fault can be placed on the fowards. i'm still concered about not enough scoring going around, especially up front.

well the changes are starting to come in dillon duncan, josie st pierre and wright are gone, i would love to see goose come back in goal for us though

gotta say Duncan did impress me his first game. Wright....well i keep forgetting he's on the team, can take that as either good or bad, i just never seemed to notice him much. and St. Pierre looked promising in the pre-season, but never looked comfortable in net once the season started. i think about Goose in net all the time, but wonder if he would now be considered a vet or not, and if so, still would make room for him.

saw the Antz let go of Jarret Robertson, IMO a pretty good two way player. wouldn't mind seeing him in Richmond, but i don't think he is what our team needs, we need a foward that can be considered a sniper.

i thought duncan was pretty good, seemed to hit alot but i guess offense is what goudie was looking for out of him, and it didn't come.

i agree robertson would be a nice pick up i liked dillon also and wright didnt really impress me alot but he was one of our only players in the plus

Robertson would be a great pick up for the Gades. The dude can play both side sof the puck and has crazy speed. I still don't understand why he was waived, there were others on the Antz roster that I would have liked to see go first. In the end I am not the coach, so it doesn't matter that I don't understand the decisions that are made. I do like Emery Olauson though, it's good to have him on the roster. Robo won't last long on the waiver wire though, a team will sign him pretty quick.

yeah olauson seems like a really good pickup for the antz with a couple of goals last night, i was hopin to read where robertson would be signed today but we brought in 2 other guys but i think once the gades get healthy we should be a decent team. i hope at least

i would think that when Kubiliak(sp) is ready to play and with Vandermeer coming back sometime after, Richmond should be able to put out a good defenseman for trade bait.

problem i see with the Antz waiving Robertson is, i think they need more two way fowards or with a more defensive edge over offensive. still think they are overloaded with offensive talent in thier fowards, but really lacking on the other end leaving a large burden on the defensemen and goalies, luckily, i think the Antz aren't in bad shape in those two departments, but still alot for them to handle.

I don't think we will see Robertson playing hockey anymore. I hear he is teaching school somewhere here in Fayetteville. He has mentioned several times that he has always wanted to teach. He may be gone, who knows???

well thats good in its own little way, but hope he changes his mind and keeps the skates on, still think there are bound to be teams in this league that could use him, still surprised the Antz chose to release him. hope he returns, one of my favorite players in this league.
