True. But I've heard they are in a tough salary cap spot, only $4mil under. If Kolb is still on the team on March 17, he gets a huge roster bonus ($7mil) that will hit the cap as well. Thus, if they want Manning, they have to make a deal REAL quick. Trading Kolb is tepid at best, as interest has dwindled in him especially with his health and durability concerns.

I see him going to Arizona... but my wishful thinking is Houston. I don't think Schaub is a super bowl QB and with Manning throwing the ball Andre Johnson could be #1 WR in the league. With Arian Foster as RB, and the Texans D, that would make them a Super Bowl contender for sure.

It would be nice to see him stick it to Indy a couple of times a year!

Wow. So untrue. Levi brown will not be paid the 17 million roster bonus he is due which is assumed against the cap. Kolb will be cut if they sign manning, his roster bonus is not due until march 17. Some other dead weight like stewert Bradley for 5 million I'm assuming will be gone. Projections are the real cap number for the cards is about 20 million under the cap.
Your welcome.

Baltimore. Makes sense he can get his ring and take Wayne with him for one hell of a combo of Boldin and Wayne.

How is anything I said untrue? At the current moment they have $3.1 mil in salary cap. That's a fact.

Yes, Levi is likely going to get cut, but it hasn't happened yet. Cut Levi Brown and leave Peyton's blindside wide open. Great idea in trying to entice him, LOL.

And you really think Peyton is going to make up his mind in 10 days, in time for the Cards to cut Kolb? He's going to get courted all over and have to do a dozen+ workouts to prove his health. Likely not happening in the next 10 days.

The Skins, Seahawks and Chiefs all have over $30 in cap room without having to cut anyone. And the Fins have a messload of guys that are willing to re-negotiate their contracts to increase their $10mil cap space, including a Pro Bowl left tackle in Jake Long.

they have jesus christ's son, they'll be fine.

the eagles, however, could really do damage w/ someone like peyton manning behind center.

I voted Jets...that would be a great fit. Good QB going to a pretty good team needing a QB. Sanchise would look great in a baseball cap.

Money should be irrelevant to Captain Endorsement.

My top 3 destinations:

AZ: Larry Fitz's work ethic and Peyton's match made in heaven.
NYJ: Both Manning brothers in the Big Apple.
Miami: Pro Bowl LT Jake Long and Brandon Marshall.

Why he wouldn't go to the Ravens: he'd get beat up by the Steelers 2x a year. Those games are brutal to both QBs.

Don't know if he will effectively play. The Cards choice look sexy: PM and Fitz = WHOA!

Got to remember the Ravens have a good OLine, are a QB away from the Super Bowl and he would most likely bring Wayne with him. I have no idea what their cap situation is but that seems like a home run move to me.

The Steelers D got shreaded by the Ravens this past year, and I don't see that changing unless Hood and Heyward progress a ton. Plus you know the league will do anything to make sure James Harrison becomes a floor mat for McKinnie.
