Just saw the score 36-17, Do Vikes fans really think Ponder is good or even the team. Coming from an outsider of the team they are not.

The only people who still think he is our franchise qb are the people who have been licking his taint since day one. i think most realistic fans have come to the conclusion he is not.

It's going to be VERY interesting to see how Christian does the rest of the year. If he continually leads this team into the ground, as he's doing, I'm not sure this fan base will allow him to remain the QB. It's really that simple.

Same goes for Bill Musgrave calling those terrible ****ing plays.

Bill Musgrave once again proves to be an inept play caller. Someone will have to tell me, after AP goes for 22 yards, why do you then drop back 3 straight times and have your QB throw the same route on 1st and 2nd, then something short of the first down marker on 3rd?

Ponder... my god. Thankfully the Cardinals offense (outside Stephens-Howling) was just a hair worse than the Vikings offense, because they had, what, 3 or 4 straight three and out chances from the Vikings and couldn't do jack **** with it?

Canuck2, the CArdinals o-line maybe the worst I've ever seen in my years of watching and following football. Larod Stephens-Howling made the vast majority if his runs almost entirely on his own (except for two or three off tackles zones), and Skelton was under pressure all game long.

I couldnt figure out why they abandoned AP it had me scratching my head. But perhaps they are preserving his knee.

I warned you about john Skelton he's worse then Ponder who was very unimpressive. some of those throws were BRUTAL.

Our Oline sucks real real bad. I agree with you worst I have ever seen. Our D is a gem though one of the best in the league.

The worst part is, I'd say these stats don't enough about how bad he actually was. Wow. brutal.

You have the wrong guy slim, read my posts I only said the Vikes offense was anemic and I was right. You went onto arguing with another poster after I clowned you.

Unlike you I have other hobbies, responsibilities, parenthood, treadmills eating the right foods that take up the majority of my day. I will try to add a third post from now if your sniffing of kidds ball sack doesn't get this deleted like every other time I respond to you.

One of the guys on Kfan is comparing the Vikes game yesterday to him game of golf this season. He must have started off good, and now can't hit the side of a barn with the ball from ten feet.

Didn't get to watch the game I live in Michigan, but was watching the Giants game and looked at the bottom and saw Peterson 4 rushes and 84 yards and a TD and thought maybe we had a shot. Saw the score going back and fourth for a minute to but noticed that only Peterson was being shown for the Vikes stat wise and Wilson,Tate,and Lynch all being shown for the Hawks. I know we are still above .500 which is a plus for the bar I had set for us but looks like we will be below quickly. When will they wake up and make some moves here all the **** with Harvin wanting to leave this offseason and not having someone to get him the ball isnt going to want to make him stay. Ponder was surpisingly decent the first 4 games but is showing his true skill set. The game against the Bucs how times was he going to try to force the ball to Simpson and others in 2 to 3 man coverage. Now the play calling blew that game as well the run was working but the kept giving ponder the chance to put it up and he was terrible. How was the play calling this week Jkidd?

The play calling wasn't as bad as the Bucs game, and some of the sacks taken by Ponder weren't entirely his fault. I can remember distinctly one of them where Phil Loadholdt literally leaves his guy unblocked to double team the defensive tackle, and gives not only the DE a free run but the blitzing backer a free run with only AP to step up and do something (and he missed on both guys). All Loadholdt had to do was do that the logical thing and block the guy right in front of him and leave the backer for Peterson, but that didn't cross his mind apparently.

Ponder has regressed to the point of no return, IMO. The schedule isn't going to get any easier with the likes of the Packers and Bears twice each, with a little Texans and Rams mixed in there - all play very solid defense. The fan base locally has already turned on him (to the point where the leading liked comment at Star Trib is "Dump Ponder and start over this upcoming draft), his receivers have no faith in him, his coaches have no faith, and he is decreasing in confidence by the game. Forcing the ball to Percy or trying to force it to Simpson when Rudolph is WIDE open on the regular is getting insanely annoying.

I really can't see the team winning another game the rest of the season.
