That 2nd TD by Percy may have been my favorite TD in Vikes history. 2 ridiculous moves, and then some power. He actually showed power on both his TDs.

The O - Line and Anemic Peterson with another good day, and Ponder with another high completion percentage day.

Watched the first quarter, seen us settle for 3 field goals, and turned the game off betting my little brother we'd lose.

I won $5.

Disgusting game.

Like I said, couldn't even watch it. I checked the score at half time, and seen the yardage was entirely flipped between the 1st and 2nd quarter, and knew the Skins would pull away.

At least it looks like Ponder led them to within a touch down.

Viking fans a little scouting report on the Cards for you.

On the plus side for us is our defense. Very fast , very aggressive. Calais Campbell and dockett are beasts up front. Our linebackers are our strenghts with D. Washington one of the best in the league. Solid secondary with patrick Peterson becoming a star. Watch how you punt away from him. You might see him on a few wildcat plays.

Our offense is even worse now without KK. We got Skelton who I think sucks. He has good pocket presence but is very innacurate. OUr Oline is the worst in football. Have fun Jared Allen against Batiste the worst OT in football. He's been cut by 7 teams. we got a rookie RT who will be good some day not now. We have no running game. Williams and Beanie are out with injuries. William Powell had a good game against Buffalo but that doesnt say a lot. we have a great receiving core but the Oline doesnt give them enough time to develop routes. Fitz, Robersts and our first round pick Floyd are very good.

I think you guys win based on our brutal offense. should be a close game though.

I took the under today on this game. Two brutal offenses and two stout defenses. Should be a no brainer. Hopefully Monday morning I will walk into the book and cash a ticket.

WTF is wrong with Ponder? His best attribute is supposed to be his brains, and he showed zero brains today. What the hell was he doing at the end of the first half? Did he really think he was going to throw an 80 yard pass catch and run with 5 seconds left?

Thank God for AD and that line. AD saved the team today. Can't fault the wrs when every ball is 5 feet over their heads. The line isn't perfect, but it's ten times better than it's been the last couple of years.

Peterson continues to amaze me. The burst even seems to be coming back.

Ponder better figure it out, we don't get to play Cards, Jags and Lions every week the last 8 games. He could seriously f this season up if he regresses as bad as he did last season.

Perhaps the worst 2nd half to a football game I've seen all year long.

Bill Musgrave once again proves to be an inept play caller. Someone will have to tell me, after AP goes for 22 yards, why do you then drop back 3 straight times and have your QB throw the same route on 1st and 2nd, then something short of the first down marker on 3rd?

Here's a thought, turn around, and hand the ****ing ball off again.

Ponder... my god. Thankfully the Cardinals offense (outside Stephens-Howling) was just a hair worse than the Vikings offense, because they had, what, 3 or 4 straight three and out chances from the Vikings and couldn't do jack **** with it?

Canuck2, the CArdinals o-line maybe the worst I've ever seen in my years of watching and following football. Larod Stephens-Howling made the vast majority if his runs almost entirely on his own (except for two or three off tackles zones), and Skelton was under pressure all game long.

Yeah, I was happy when we snatched him up, and he's proving to be a hell of a deal from the Vikes in trading up to get him.

I was just really happy the Packers didn't grab him, because they needed him in a very bad way, yet opted for another LB/DE type.

Ponder's line from yesterday maybe one of the worst I've ever seen for a winning QB:
8/17 (47%) for 58 yards, 3 sacks, 2 INTs and 1 TD

I did love the fans giving him a Bronx cheer for throwing the ball away at one point.

Ponder's play scared me yesterday. I saw some guys open and the ball would be thrown nowhere near him.

Yeah, it was painfully evident the pass rush was getting him uncomfortable, and he was looking at that, rather than seeing wide open guys.

There were a few situations where Rudolph split the seam down the middle, and Ponder simply missed it due to a bit of a rush.

They could/should have screened and ran some draws to take the steam out of the rush, but very few of those were called. Then again, imagine the logic that would take Musgrave to have.

My pocket book thanks the two high school offenses for that Sunday performance.

Amen to all of that. Although I can't blame Musgrave for Sunday. Too bad, because I thought most of the team was pretty good Sunday. I hope he wakes up.

Looks like our fear has been realized. Ponder is regressing and the o-line is heading there with him.

Spotting the Bucs 10 points in the first quarter, and 20 at half isn't my definition of NOT playing from behind.

Just a piss poor game all around.

Bill Musgrave needs to kicked in the balls because he cannot call a game to save his life. Why, oh ****ing why, this team continues to lineup on 1st and 2nd down and throw the ball on straight drops - especially when AP is ripping off 6 a run - I cannot figure out to save my life.

Also, when a team is going to overload blitz you on almost every 3rd down, try a ****ing screen pass. Just a god damn thought.

Christian Ponder... once again the rush gets to him. After the Jared Allen fight, then sack, we get the ball after a decent return to the 30, and instead of hitting a WIDE OPEN Kyle Rudolph down the middle of the field, Ponder takes his eyes off the receivers and with 2 steps before he's hit, is looking at the rush to take a momentum killing sack.

Three games in a row the defense has been gashed on the ground.

Jerome Simpson... disgusting game. Ball going through his hands. Catching a ball 3 yards out of bounds and not giving Ponder anything to throw at. Then when he makes a catch, putting it on the turf.

Harrison Smith, need a better game out of him than that. The Vincent Jackson 3rd down catch in the first quarter, I'm still trying to figure out why he didn't break every one of Jackson's ribs instead of diving for the football 5 yards behind him. Also needs to take way better run support angles and break down, don't dive or simply run at the back.

Regression has clearly set in.
