The Lions are a team on the rise, a good mix of everything right now.

The Vikings can really benefit from the NFC being on the downswing, and the division being horrible. They have to right the ship (no pun intended) and start playing like a desperate football team.

But, that's a lot easier said than done when the head ball coach is as inept at running a team as Canuck2 trying to talk about football.
Easier said then done. And do that, and you have even more people coming at your quarterback (Hawk, Picket, Raji, Woodson). Not to mention, that at one point I think over 12 people were hurt for us, and still have a what looks like 6-3 record after tonight. You could even ask that Jets about how doubling Matthews, or trying out a different gameplan works against the Packers.

Yeah, on a losing club, he tried to fire the team up - that's all I said. I didn't say I wanted to keep him here, nor did I say he was a saving grace. Nor did I said I wish anything. I said I liked the fire and intensity he had in wanting to attack the teams we played.

Then, he went out and did NOTHING against the Pats and shouldn't have showed up at all.. and I seen the intense act was just that, an act. Then it was time for him to go.

I don't see what you're trying to make of this, other than your typical bull**** of trying to put words in my mouth or make a lot more out of nothing, but it's painfully obvious you've been shown the way it is. Just go back to your Cardinals thread and celebrate your fluke run to the Super Bowl. And oh yeah, make some more empty predictions about Matt Leinhart being the next coming. I mean, we all seen how that went.

Man you must have a big ego if this stuff upsets you so much.

Just saying you DID sound like a school girl when you got Moss, and then like today's sports fan suddenly your raining hate on the guy.

Just saying that's all.

Without a doubt its easier said than done. That's said about a lot of things in the NFL. Maybe next time the refs won't help the Packers, and Childress will be smart enough to challenge a close play (I wouldn't bank on anything that requires Childress to do anything resembling smart, as evident again this past Sunday).

Percy Harvin with another great game after being injured all week.

I still hate the play calling, and the pass protection on the corners is a disgrace. Between the 700lbs of our tackles, you'd think they could stop someone, but that's way too much to ask. Not to mention - although I will - AP trying to step into pass protection looking like a deer jumping out of the way of a speeding truck. Favre is taking way too many shots back there (although, I do love seeing him get hit...).

Bears up next, gotta get to Cutler.

I don't know if the Vikings converted a single 3rd down before the final 5 minutes of the game. The play calling on 3rd down was a ****ing joke.

Either way, I flipped to and from the game, and it was brutal. Couldn't protect Favre, when he did get protection he turned it over anyway.

Peterson didn't run with conviction.

The defense was a joke all day long. Didn't get pressure, didn't stop the run, didn't force enough punts.

Hopefully this gets douche bag Childress fired.

unfortunately for the vikes, you played a Bears team that was firing on all cylinders yesterday, no one saw that coming including yours truly.
Martz actually called a fantastic offensive game, and the players executed. It was clear that Minn had no answer for the underneath passes just over your linebackers…. That was happening all day. When Cutler moved out of the pocket, he as able to hit his target each time…. couple that with a defense that was playing out of their mind, and special teams being special…
If anything Im glad that we could help you out with your coaching situation... hopefully that’s another nail in the coffin for him.

Yeah, the intermediate throws at about 8-12 yards just killed the Vikings. You'd think they'd adjust, but, that'd be far too intelligent of something to do for this club. An in game adjustment? Who the hell at Winter Park knows what the hell that is?

I'm glad it was da Bears that could hopefully put a nail in the coffin of Chilly.

Although, it appears as though Chilly has escaped the axe (why and how I'll never know) this week, so it looks like the Packers get to pile drive the nail in next week.

Hell, maybe Da Bears will catch the Vikes on Monday night a in a few weeks and really drive that nail in on Chilly!?

Despite the Minnesota Vikings' sixth loss of the season Sunday, coach Brad Childress' job appears safe for the time being.

Owner Zygi Wilf told ESPN's Ed Werder following the Vikings' 27-13 loss to the Chicago Bears that he would not consider firing Childress.

That will be a good game either way.
Bears "hopefully" trying to solidify a Playoff spot, and we know Minn is tough at home. Should be fun for us fans.

Oh god this team is awful.

I love the "fire Childress" chant at the end... I swear I heard that same chant during the Gophers football games earlier this year. Hell, I partook in them.

Everything about the game was awful from the Vikings standpoint. Here's to hoping they go 3-13!

And once again Brett takes stage like he is about to Retire any minute. From an outsider this is worse than the Cowboy's Charade. Sorry but it is true.

Jkidd, what would you prefer first, Childress fired or Favre retiring?

Childress being fired.

I have never wanted him, and thought he was the bi-product of a great defense and just getting by in a weak division.

And this year, his true colors have finally shown. When he was signed to a long term deal because of last years successes, I cringed and made my opinion well known here, and locally - getting hung up on at KFAN, again.

Favre.. it is what it is. I mean, whats the better option? Bring in another reject of the Childress era in TJack?

This team has fallen apart, and the head ball coach has no control on ANYTHING what so ****ing ever.

I feel for you Viking fans but i am thoroughly enjoying every moment of Brat's misery.

At this point, the only way this gets better if the NFL suspends him over the alleged text photos and his wife divorces him....
