Who gives a sh*t and to me murder is alot worse than anything that Taylor ever did. We are talking greatest linebacker and Taylor is it period as John Madden always pointed out!

Ray Lewis is significantly overrated. Never saw Lawrence Taylor play, but in the videos I have seen, he was an absolute freak. Ray Lewis never did anything on a football field like the things I have seen LT do on film. Ray Lewis should be compared to Brian Urlacher, not LT.

Lewis was a hell of a player in his prime but was no LT! I have shown clips where LT just missed having like 10 sacks in a game. He would have like 4 sacks and hit the QB just as he was throwing like 6 other times!
Both Joe Gibbs and Bill Walsh said we had to completely change our gameplans and gameplan just for LT and he was so fast that you couldn't run away from him!
John Madden used to do a ton of the Giants games with Pat Summerall and he would be doing an Irish Jig in the booth over what he would see LT do!
The guy was unreal!

This is just Taylor's rookie year in 1981! He is causing all kinds of fumbles, sacking guys, playing inside and outside and blowing up passing plays and sweeps and draws!

John Madden said it best when he said,"I tell ya Taylor is all over the field!"

This is funny in 1986 in Philly. The Eagles pis*ed off Taylor and he became superman!

Haha-Now in NJ in 1986, Taylor destroys the Eagles with 4 sacks in a 35-3 romp over Buddy Ryan!

CMON, theres no debate, cant compare once in a lifetime athlete like LT to someone like ray lewis, who had like the 3-4 great seasons. sure they love him in baltimore but i bet they'd worship the ground LT walked on if he had played for that franchise.

i thought roger goodell had an awkward moment with ray, the man hug. i bet he feared for his life lol. i believe football saved both LT and ray from prison really. we'll see how ray deal with his life in retirement. there might be some headlines in the future ...

Lawrence Taylor may be an all-time great, but he's also a multiple felon. For some reason, Jack seems to think Ray Lewis is a scumbag but not Lawrence Taylor. Must be those GIANT rose-colored glasses on his face. To Jack, committing multiple hit and runs and paying a 16 year old girl to f*ck him on top of years of narcotics abuse during and after his playing career is passable because "it's not a murder." Jack's words...

How does anyone defend Lewis or Taylor? Shows you how moronic sports fans can be.

If you think that you are going to find role models when you put guys on pedestals, pay them millions a year for playing a game than you're looking in the wrong place.

3-4 great seasons? More like 10-12.

I agree that you can't compare him to LT but saying he only had 3-4 great seasons is just retarded.

Lewis was a hell of a player like I wrote but there is only one LT just like there was only one Deacon Jones rushing the QB!
