NFL Free Agency Thread

Chat away boys. Just want to keep rumors in here and anything that isn't confirmed yet.

Apparently the Bucs are close on Vincent Jackson and Carl Nicks.

The Bills have Meachem and Mario Williams visiting soon.

It's scary how bad the Bills need a quality defensive end. If Buffalo can get a couple of players to fix gaping holes somebody may owe me a Fitzpatrick jersey. *cough cough*

With marshall being traded to the bears it makes me think manning won't be going with Miami.

I'd love to see him go to the Titans. What karma for the Colts. However if he goes to Denver I can laugh at all the Tebow fanboys. The debate they had on NFL Network was hilarious, pretty much saying Tebow is worth a 5th rd pick.

However if he goes to Jacksonville they could be better suited to his style of game. Which is 95% run, 0.3% pass, and 4.7% pass to the wrong team.

Skins also got Pierre Garcon, and the Chargers signed Robert Meachem.

IF Manning went to Denver the best thing for Tebow would be to end up in Jacksonville. He would be a god there playing less then 2 hours from Gainsville. Looking back on his draft i wonder why Jacksonville didn't draft the guy. they are hurting on selling tickets and there was a virtual gold mine just sitting out there to draft and they didn't pull the trigger.

We've had some of the Jaguars front office people come in and speak to us, and they said not drafting Tebow was one of their biggest mistakes they have ever made. I honestly can't remember who they drafted that year.

they could have drafted Aaron Rogers and it wouldn't of mattered. They should have took Tebow just to save the franchise because Jacksonville won't sell tickets even if they are above .500. sorry to get off the topic of this thread. back to the free agency talk.

I can ony hope. Always have been a closet Buffalo fan. Mario is a great step forward for that defense.

Williams will have to get through that NE offensive line which is one of the best. Certainly no easy task regardless of how skilled he is. Either way, he's an excellent acquisition for the Bills.
