Well shiit dude I didnt know you were a pats fan......

The pats draft has been pretty good so far, two good players they have picked. Now some secondary help and we should be back to decent on defense.

So Cleveland had the 4th pick and traded up one pick to draft a guy they could have had a pick later? That makes no sense to me whats so ever, then again Im guessing another team would have traded up with Minny to get Richardson (Tampa?). Minny has done a decent job so far picking up extra picks which they need. Good for them.

Correct. That's why they traded up.

The Steelers picked DeCastro. Fine, but he better not be another John Reinstra. I was hoping they'd take Hightower. The Patriots were happy to oblige.

i believe you answered your own question. i'm not sure if Tampa was really looking to do it, but why would Cleveland wait, right? i mean, if they make the trade, they give up some picks (they still have TEN) and they get their guy for sure.

then again, they may have been able to stay and get him anyway. personally, i'm glad they moved up and got an impact player.

*EDIT*

damn, me and Rugged are posting the same stuff, but i am always a hair late. hahahaha.

Great draft for the Vikings. Speilman shocked the **** out of me in getting extra picks and a second 1st rounder, which ended up being S Harrison Smith - which is a pick I love.

Kalil should instantly upgrade the offensive line and Smith can step in immediately as the SS in the Tampa two, providing the hammer the Vikings desperately need that can go side line to side line and destroy wide outs to separate them from the ball.

Great 1st round for the Vikings.

I was shocked the Packers didn't take him, really. I wasn't overly caring for their pick of Perry, since I watched a ton of USC and he seemed to disappear a lot, especially when a player engaged him.

He should come off the edge really well as a blitzer. Mix that with Clay Matthews, and that's a crazy threat to deal with.

i don't like the pick of perry...could have gotten that type of player in the 2nd round. we lost clifton and collins and they draft someone who can't replace either of those two. smith would have been the perfect pick

My wife was hoping for the obvious hometown pick in Cobe Fleener from Stanford for the 49ers, but any info on Jenkins?

Sounds good! If anything the G-Men need help with the kickoff return game. Thanks for the info!

Great pick I thought. They can manage for a year with what they have at ILB. At worst they could find someone in the middle rounds. I mean Harrison went undrafted, Woodley was a 2nd rd pick. They could try and move Woirlds inside as well.
