Well lets be fair, the Jets continue to stick with Mark despite having what many think is a better option on the bench... that being that fullback who can occasionally throw the ball. No names.

The Steelers are down to Charlies Batch. It's not like he continually sees game time despite having a better, healthy option available.

You're right, but the Steelers have long postponed having a decent backup for Big Ben for many a year now. Sanchez as BigBen's backup would be great. Instead us Steeler fans are stuck with Old Man Batch (who I do like) and Longwindup Leftwich (whom I don't)

Why Romo? He's consistently amongst the highest rated passers in the league and wins 60% of his games. Sure, he's having a mediocre (by his standards) season this year, but I'm not sure he should be sh*tcanned just yet.

Sanchez may just need a change of scenery; in his defense, the Jets' running backs stink, he lost his best receiver, and his offensive line has trouble protecting him.

i gotta disagree with you here on romo. Romo always does have numbers for most part, but he reminds me of rex grossman. Someone who can move the ball very well and look elite at times, but ALWAYS sh1ts the bed when the game matters. Thats just my 2 cents. Dallas would be better off with another qb. Romo also kinda reminds me of favre in his knack for throwing picks because he is a gunslinger

Definitely agree with the Favre comparison, albeit Favre-lite (not quite the rocket Brett possessed). I think the "screws up in the clutch" stuff is a bit of a myth perpetuated by the media, and latched on to by fans only because he's the QB of the Dallas Cowboys, at once the most beloved and hated team in America.

Yes, he has made some high profile blunders (who hasn't?), but over the course of his career, he is also the highest rated 4th quarter QB in the league, and it's not really close. That certainly militates against the idea that he has not performed well in the clutch.

When you think about it, his most glaring f*ck up was not even made as a QB, but rather as a holder; somehow, that always gets thrown into the mix.

favre himself said that of all the current nfl qb's romo is most like him.
but dallas' problems are bigger than just at qb.
i would tend to say that everybody on the team relies too much on romos ability to make plays. get him a solid D, solid O line and a demanding disciplined coach ( like coach johnson for example ) and , yeah, brains for dez bryant too and there would be results. theres just too much problems under coach garret..

I'd be looking forward to having a high draft pick but if recent history proves anything, the Birds will find a way to **** that up too.

There are three first rounders even worth remembering in the Andy Reid era: McNabb '99, Lito Sheppard '02, and Maclin '09. Everything else has been a total let down, especially the recent trend of trading down for a novelty player (Brandon Graham) or just straight up using the pick on a project player no one else is watching (Danny Watkins).

I have no faith the Eagles will turn their franchise around soon. There are way too many problems from the front office to the field. There are only three likable players on this team: Maclin, LeSean McCoy, and Nick Foles the goddamn backup QB. This team is absolutely pathetic!

Gotta agree here. I like Garrett, but something is definitely lacking with that franchise right now. Not sure if it's Jones' meddling, or Garrett's simple inability to instill discipline, but things might have to change at the top before anything really changes on the field. What is the record for false starts and delay of game penalties in a season? I have to believe the Cowboys rank 1 through 5 over the last 5 seasons. Jeezus.

Blackouts really do blow. It's punishing fans for liking bad teams. The Bills won't be on local TV today, wasn't even close to a sell out. Shame loyal fans wont get to see their favorite team.

Go to the game. Will probably be the only way you see a home game the rest of the year. And didn't they change the sell out black out rule to 85% this year? If so, pathetic.

Ironically enough, I was listening to the radio broadcast of the game and the Bills announcers wondered why all the so called "loyal fans" weren't at the game and why the ones who were there left at halftime. They basically begged people to come out next week. Bad showing. Maybe LA will support the team better.

You don't have to put loyal fans in qutations marks, we are loyal but when there continous to be an inferior product on the field we get angry. I'm a huge fan but realistically I'm not showing up and blowing $$ and time if my team has little chance of winning. Some games are not worth watcing on TV let alone going to the Ralph. For the record, Iv'e never been to an NFL game.

About leaving at halftime, it was an ugly day, rain and cold. The Bills were playing well but I can see fans thinking Buffalo can't keep this up we should leave and save ourselves from frezzing. Moving to LA WOULD BE A GIANT MISTAKE FOR BUFFALO.Buffalo deserves to have a playoff team, moving somewhere else with a new fan base won't help.
