I'm glad I'm not the only one who said this last night.

Guys routinely throwing 30+ TDs and 4500+ yards a year has kinda took the luster off passing accomplishments to me.

I can't say I was excited, but Marino, Favre, Manning, Elway, Montana or Brady never did it. It was also an "unbreakable" record at one point. Pretty cool watching history, but I surely wasn't excited. Still a pretty big accomplishment, imo.

Pretty early to be lobbying for an mvp candidate. I know for a fact Belichek was going to snag Harvin the year he was drafted,but if i remember,the Vikes moved up to take him. And Harvins injury prone,so id hold off on the Harvin/mvp stuff. As far as records go,im less impressed nowadays by passing records in a pass happy league. I still think Marino's '85 season is tops,only guy to beat an almost unbeatable Bears team.

By the way, when claiming to know so much about football, you shouldn't say you know that the Pats were going to pick him, but the Vikings traded up. He fell in the draft for a positive weed test and fell to the vikings. The Vikes didn't trade up.

The Pats traded their number 1 pick that season. Like usual. Mr. Know it all.

Watched my friend lose his fantasy football game by .53 points, the last two plays of the Jets "drive" did him in. Sack and a INT just like Sanchez and the Jets drew it up!

Moving on to Thursday's game the Steelers will be without Polamalu and Woodley. I am WORRIED! Our D looks so soft, and I can not remember a year in which they looked this bad too. Just not the usual Dick LeBeau type D we are use too. Then again drafting terrible project LB's over givens like Sean Lee might be part of that problem too.

Tomlin is a great coach, but a horrid drafter and evaluator of college talent.
