Pitt got outplayed by a Division 2 opponett in Youngstown State. That's just ****ing embarrasing. It was so bad the stadium emptied out with a little less than 10 minutes to go.

Really embarrased with how bad this team played yesterday. Got to sort this bull**** out.

Bama dominated as expected, I really expect no less from that team. I will be down there for a home game in November it appears, hopefully late October. Haven't seen any Missouri scores and my faithful RMU got trounced 52-0 by North Dakota State. Just really poor special teams doomed them.

Haha only special teams did them in with that final score? It reminds me of the Mr. Burns quote "Honestly Smithers, I don't even know why Harvard even bothered even showing up! They barely won!"

But I can relate to special teams mistakes. Syracuse shot themselves in the foot Saturday. Outplayed Northwestern all game long but 2 long punt returns, one for a td and one setting up a td, an awkward interception that led to a td, and a dropped backwards pass SU thought was a dead ball that NU returned for a td had the Orange trailing 35-13 midway through the third. They come back to take the lead with a few minutes left and a terrible penalty, which was only called because the quarterback embellished a dive ten feet out of bounds into the bleachers (sounds like soccer... Or hockey nowadays), led to the Wildcats scorig the winning touchdown under a minute left. 42-41 but close to 500 passing yards for Syracuse has me excited for the rest of the season.

They had some problems but the defense and special teams really sucked. It was only 17-0 at half, but the defense was getting worn out because the punter would kick the ball at most 25 yards. The offense wasn't doing too bad either even if you look at the stats the game was closer and we held our own but eventually the team just got too tired from sucking.

A bigger team with a lot bigger problems is Pitt. Losing to Youngstown State and they have Garner Webb on their schedule as well. I would love to know the last time a D-1 school has lost to 2 D-2 teams in a season. I would have to guess never.

I will give them credit for actually scheduling some tougher teams this year compared to their usual cupcakes. But their preseason ranking should have had a 1 in front of it to begin with.

Hey as long as Pitt hasn't figured out their problems by the time they come to the Dome October 5th, I'll be good. I can't remember the last time the Orange beat the Panthers.

I dont know where they should be been ranked in the preseason. I didnt realize how much credibility you give preseason rankings.

You have more posts about Michigan after week 1 than you do about your own school winning ....butt hurt much?

I give no credibility to preseason rankings, but they are there and UM-Alabama had no reason being as hyped up as it was.

No need to talk about State. They won a game that they should have. I'm not going to brag about beating a young Boise State team considering how mediocre we played. Leveon Bell won't be able to run through Big 10 defenses like he did on Friday and I don't see Maxwell taking control of games anytime soon.

MSU was unbelievably lucky to win that game against a very young, very small, and very inexperienced Boise team.

Their QB play was terrible, and why they didn't line ball up and give him 50 carries, is beyond me.

I don't see Sparty having a solid year through the Big 10. I see the defense winning a couple games for them, and I see Ball being able to run over a few defenses, but when it gets down to Ohio State, Michigan, Iowa, Penn State, Wisconsin and Nebraska - it won't be good enough (or whatever teams they play this year).

Florida State lost a potential All American defensive end in game 1. They've got amazing depth on the defensive side of the ball, but losing Brandon Jenkins is a MASSIVE loss. A guy that can change the course of a game all on his own with stuffing the run or the pass.

Sure there is, its YOUR school. Your school won. Levon had over 200 yards that put him in the Heisman talk. Instead you talk about Michigan losing to the best team in the country and Robinsons poor performance. And that is why you'll always be little brother.

Neither can I man, but I really think they may win 2 games this year at best. Maybe 2.
