i wasn't debating, i was telling what happened. it was nothing against notre dame like your claiming...the d-line sucked in doing what they need to do in order for the secondary to be better than mediocre.

BobbieNystrom still dodging good points about how ND's D-line and secondary played. We get it, ND won and that's all that matters. No matter how ugly, a win is a win. But the reason no one wants to talk football with you is because no one can have an intelligent convo without you throwing around insults and being a douchebag. And it takes a real douchebag to get exposed as a douchebag by CHILLY! You can ignore ND's mediocre defensive play vs USC, but let's hope ND's coaching staff doesn't ignore it when they prep for the National Championship game.

ND has played well this entire season and they deserve a shot at the national title. A little humility and a less blatantly biased approach to the ND football team from you would be nice though. Just sayin!

First you said they got manhanlded, then you said hey played great vs a freshman then you said they didn't. You should make up your mind. Did you see all the Trojans limping off the field in the 4th? Did you see the USC TE fall down instead of getting hit by Manti on the final drive? That's how it is every game. That's not gettting "manhandled." That's called bringing the pain.

Humility? When you find one post where I said ND was the best or was going to beat anybody. I was the one person who said could lose this game. And they could lose the big one and may. The fact is that like most of ND's wins this season. I also said Lee is a great player who plays well most of the time. He also said ND was the best team they played this year Who did I call names? You say I'm biased, I say I gave my team a fair shake and an educated opinion because I watched the games. All of them. I never claimed they deserved to be # 1, but I did give them the chance, unlike the haters. Sorry if that bothers you. I mean if I'm in the NFL thread and claiming the Vikes deserve a shot at the Super Bowl, then you can can call me biased (more than any fan.) I won't apologize for beliving in my team when most outsiders didn't. That's what fans do. Not to mention, my faith was rewarded. For once.

I don't need to pull specific posts demonstrating your lack of class and humility, or find posts where you insult people. This thread is full of them as well as the Lions and Vikings team threads and you know it. Also, gauging what posters like you by the number of thanks you get? LOL, pathetic. Listen man, I'll be rooting for ND in the national championship game. I'm not a ND hater and it's way better than seeing another SEC school win it. But ND needs to make damn sure they strengthen all the weak spots they showed against their most recent opponent when it comes time to face Alabama or whoever. Because a team like Alabama will take advantage of having all day to throw the football and wide open receivers. On the day of the national championship game, what ND did against Oklahoma ten weeks prior means nothing. It's all about how they prepare for THIS game, and they better make damn sure to cover their asses. If they see their defense on Saturday like you do, then crown Bama right now.

Here are some job openings for you arm chair QBs/coaches out there:

Colorado has fired Jon Embree. The Buffs have been awful for a while, not sure what they expected out of Embree. But, apparently 4-21 isn't good enough.

Boston College has fired Frank Spaziani. 22-29 at the helm wasn't good enough, as the school continually looked worse and worse.

Purdue has fired Danny Hope after he just won a game against in state rival Indiana and became bowl eligible. I still remember when Joe Tiller said Hope was the man to replace him... guess not.

NC State fired Tom O'Brien after another winning season, and despite 4 bowl games in 6 years. Wonder if he'll return to BC where there is now a head coaching job open?

Auburn has ditched Gene Chizik after his 3-9 season, and being two years removed from a national title win. Apparently that's how serious winning is in the SEC.

So you don't know what the profile views things me either? If getting a grip means being a follower and joining the hate brigade like chilly the greek has, I want nothing to do with it. Where I come from you don't dog your defense out when they give up 13 points and win the game with a goal line stand.

And that was lefthook who bumped that thread when he thought a victory over the Jags made his team a contender. You should get your facts straight, Mr. Class. I mean, I know it's your lover lefthook and all, but try to be unbiased when calling somebody biased.
