I'm far from a Notre Dame supporter, (in fact I kind of hate them because they in essence are responsible for the collapse of the Big East but that's a different issue) but regardless of USC running the same play for times or four different plays, the Irish stopped them. They had at least six chances inside the five and didn't score.

And Lee has made everyone he played this year look terrible. The Notre Dame freshman, number 6 I think it was, isn't going to have to cover anyone with near Lee's talent in the NC game.

For what it's worth - one Vegas casino has Alabama as a 9 point favorite over the Irish. Assuming the win the SEC game.

thats not even the original point i was trying to make, my point was usc's offensive line handled the ND dline. That was my point. But bobthebuilder in here thinks because of the goaline stand that it isnt true. He just cant have an objective opinion. I gave ND their props for winning sure. But if their dline plays like that against bama/uga. Gonna be a long day

It means their starting quarterback was out.

I just looked at Georgia's schedule and wow...are they really the 2nd best 1 loss team?

They have 4 wins against bowl eligible teams. 2 of those teams are 6-6 and 1 is Vanderbilt..Florida is their only "solid" win.

Oregon has 7 wins against bowl eligible teams..all with at least 7 wins themselves.

Georgia is going to get hammered by Bama.

i see your point here Oregon struggled mightily against stanford man. Oregon would more then likely get beat by uga/bama. Their offense is great, but they need defense. Granted they have been injured, but still. Uga/bama are definately stronger teams then oregon in my own opinion

Their defense has improved somewhat. I think the Ducks would lose to Bama, but I think they would beat Georgia.

From the games I have seen, Stanford is actually a very solid team. Barely losing to ND and just having a brain fart game against Washington.

Only a few more years til playoffs when we won't have to guess as much

Starting in 2014, their will be a 4 team playoff. 1 vs. 4, 2 vs. 3. Then obviously the winners facing off in the championship game.

The top 4 teams will be selected by a committee.

And here is a link to how the rest of the "BCS" bowls will work.

Your dline better play alot better then last night against bama/uga
Are you a Detroit Lions fan by any chance?

Lee is a great player who had a good game like he usually does. But you bashing ND's front 7 when they won that game with that goal line and gave up 13 points is hilarious. And lol @homer. You're as biased against ND as anybody is for them. Oh backup qb? Always an excuse when ND wins. All 9 bowl eligible teams they beat, there were reasons besides their play they won. All 9.

And chilly the greek, you still debating against "your team?" Maybe Bama can make you right for once this season. We know that's what you really care about. Oh, if they make the game.

Basketball only schools, football and money ruined the Big East. I'm going to miss BE basketball.

9 points is more respect than I thought ND would get. It's going to be a long 45 days.

Why is no one in here questioning going for that TD on 4th down? What the hell is Kiffin thinking? You need the two scores, take the 3 then move on, dipshiit.

I figured it was all part of an elaborate plan to give it to ND at the 1 and get a safety and the ball back within 7pts.

you won the game because you played great against a FRESHMAN qb. All that needs to be said really. ND hardly sniffed the qb all game long thats the point im making. IM saying its gonna be a problem in the NC game
