I don't know if you call it the luck of the Irish or what, but they escape with their 0 in tact by the width of a pube.

Why Pitt didn't use one of their three plays before the missed field goal to move the ball to the center of the field is beyond me, terrible play calling by Pitt.

It looks like they tried, but the runner made a cut when the hole closed, and it pushed it to the right hash. Should have just been a quarter back step and knee to the middle of the field, IMO.

LSU is so dumb. Their defense was dominating and then it gets to 2 minute drill time and they play passively and let Bama march down the field. I will never get why teams always play not to lose in situations like that.

It was an evenly matched game all the way around, Bama absolutely deserves the #1 ranking they got

Not saying they don't. But LSU had so many chances to put that game away. It felt like someone from the SEC called the Tigers and told them that if they won it would hurt the conference's chance of getting a team in the national championship again and the team just stopped playing in the final 2 minutes.

Even when they got the ball back, any college football player should know that when you don't have timeouts, you can't throw it in bounds short of the first down. The following play, the rb has a chance to get a first down and stop the clock, yet unsuccessfully runs to the sidelines instead...

Just seems like the top teams this week benefited from their opponents finding a way to lose.

I'm glad Bama won. Hopefully removes all chances of an all SEC title game.

And Les Miles was clueless as when to go for it or kick a FG. He must have cost his team at least 6 points.

Yeah the Norte Dame game was crazy. I had a feeling that ND would not make it easy on themselves. Te'o has a quiet came to say the least. Golson and Rees threw horrible picks... overtime was insane with fumble in endzone and missed FG.

I wouldn't count on it. The BCS just continues to let them hang around.

I.E.

Team 1: 6-2 against D-1 schools. Combined wins of D-1 teams they have beaten: 25.

Team 2: 7-1 against D-1 schools. Combined wins of D-1 teams they have beaten: 34

Team 1 is ranked 7th. Team 2 is ranked 11th.

Once again voters neglect to look at team's wins and just focus on if they lost to a good opponent, which really tells you nothing.

Also, how pissed must Ohio State be at Terrelle Prior and company. They would be right in the mix of national championship discussions if not for them.

In all honesty I haven't watched much football since the quarterback stopped being able to be hit and linemen stood on the sideline with blood trickling down the bridges their noses. I did watch the Notre Dame game and wondered....since when can a quarterback and a linebacker wear the same jersey number? Notre Dame QB and LB both wore the No. 5.
