How is USC ranked so high!?! Just because of Barkley?

And TCU? Good thing this is pre season. My guess is not much will change come the start of it all...

usc has most everybody coming back from last year...so their ranking is pretty valid compared to oregon who lost A LOT and is only gonna look good early due to a piss poor schedule to start out.

tcu is good, but idk who else you would really replace them with that is behind them.

a lot of people are talking about oregons lack of size on the O and D lines. speed will only get you so far.

with USC, i wonder how much the loss of kalil is going to affect barkley

Oklahoma should be solid again as long as their Defense can show up to games

Oregon was always small though, so I think they will play their same sort of game. And with Kalil gone (he's like the only one who left that team, lol) it will be a little tougher, but I think that the rest of that line came back, right? I think he will be fine, maybe shift a vet to LT and break in a new guy at guard or something.

Do you mean so high or so low? Losing Blackmon and (QB...can't remember name...) and being they were so pass happy last year, do you think OSU is going to be a contendor int he Big12?

kalil will be difficult to replace.. he was possibly the best tackle in college football.

i think they're ranked high without anything being proven. rolling a true freshman is a gamble. their run game is ridiculous and the D will be better than last year. i'm just not comfortable putting them at 19. i'd go around 25, possibly outside looking in. its way too early to predict anything with them.

MSU lost basically their entire offense. I don't see them being the 13th best team to open.

They need to just get rid of preseason polls all together.

For the second straight year, Wisconsin will start an ACC transfer QB.

Last year, it was Russell Wilson from NC State - who had an awesome year and went in the 3rd round to Seattle.

This year, it'll be former Maryland starter Danny O'Brien. O'Brien became immediately available to start upon transfer because he graduated from Maryland.

Interesting to see if going to the well twice in a row will work out for UW.

I've heard nothing but good things about O'Brien. A bit of a different QB from Wilson, but with Monte Ball, it shouldn't matter all that much.

Wilson looked good with the Seachickens too. Good to see.

Between injuries and performance, Danny really played himself out of Maryland with CJ Brown emerging as their choice.

A couple years back, I remember Danny having a career game against NC State and ironically enough, Russell Wilson. But last year, he just didn't have it and then injuries kinda derailed him.

But, moving to Wisconsin, where he's going to have a VERY solid offensive line, great running game and huge targets to throw at - he should rebound nicely and not have to do it all himself.

I really hope Vandy upsets the grossly overrated South Carolina tonight. I mean, really hope.
