You know whats funny is I grew up in a catholic neighborhood and went to Catholic high school being a USC fan so I have tons of ND fans who every year talk about what they need to do to get over the top, their denial is astounding at times and always humorous. The rivalry I have with certain ND friends goes all the way back to Joe Theisman and Thomas Gatewood vs Sam Cunningham and Jimmy Jones.

I'll be catching a few Gopher games, and I'm sure I'll travel down to Iowa with my grandpa to watch his school. Always a good time down there.

Depending on my hockey schedule, Camp Randall appears to be a destination as well. One of my absolute favorite venues in all of sports. Checking with my buddies back at UW to see if the Nebraska game is a possibility or if another night game against a Big 10 team works for them.

Tomorrow has been a long time coming. Hockey offseason has been horrible, sad, and long. NCAA Football is number 2 on my list behind hockey, cannot wait to see a game. It's like Christmas Eve when you're 11yo!

Rumors circulating that the Big 12 will be extending an invitation to Pitt to join the Big 12. However, the Panthers dont seem intent on leaving and are holding out hope for the Big 10 to offer them a deal.

The Panthers are renewing their rivalry with Penn St. in the coming years as well. So here is to hoping.

Far more pumped about college ball starting as opposed to the NFL gearing up.

To me, with all the changes Goodell has instituted, he's gone way too far with "player safety" and taken the essence of intimidation and brutality out of the game. But that's for another thread all together.

Lots of rearranging going on.

The Big 12 - as the Pollock mentions - is hoping to gain Pitt, while they're losing Texas A&M at some point next year.

The rearrangements with the ACC, Big East and SEC still don't appear to be done at this point, as many rumors are floating around about ACC and Big East teams joining different conferences. Should be interesting to see how it all sorts out in the coming months to a year.

Not sure what TCU will do but almost every team in the Big East has been rumored to be leaving the confrence for the ACC or Big 10. I honestly dont think any of them will leave other then maybe Pitt or USF. If Pitt got an offer to leave for the Big 10 I dont think there is any doubt they would jump at it. The opportunity to have Pitt-PSU at Heinz Field or Beaver Stadium is HUGE. Plus the Backyard Brawl would fill right into the non confrence schedule.

If the Big 12 wants Pitt, they are really going to have to persuade the hell out of Pitt.

Baylor looking good so far in the first half, lot of football to go in this one though. I also just read where Oklahoma might be leaving the Big 12.

Baylor is putting a beating on TCU, got them more than doubled up right now 47-23 with 5+ left in the 3rd quarter.

Didn't TCU beat them by like 50 last year?
