Did Suh cross the line

I think the answer is obvious, he doesn't think so and to me comes off looking like a moron.

DETROIT (AP) -- Ndamukong Suh was on the ground, entangled with the Green Bay lineman who had blocked him down. As Suh got up, the Detroit All-Pro pinned Evan Dietrich-Smith's head against the turf, then was pushed off of him.

What happened next will only fuel the discussion about whether Suh's aggressive play too often crosses the line.

Suh stepped down hard with his right foot, appearing to make contact with Dietrich-Smith's right arm, and the Detroit star was ejected from the Lions' 27-15 loss to the unbeaten Packers on Thursday. As much as the Lions have accomplished this season, this was another Thanksgiving nightmare, full of injuries, turnovers and undisciplined play.

"I want to apologize to my teammates, my coaches and my true fans for allowing the refs to have an opportunity to take me out of this game, " Suh said. "What I did was remove myself from the situation the best way I felt, with me being held down."

Suh apologized, but the powerful defensive tackle was quick to defend himself, saying he was trying to keep his balance while freeing himself from the brief scuffle.

"My intention was not to kick anybody, as I did not, removing myself, " he said. "I was on top of a guy, being pulled down, and trying to get up off the ground -- and why you see me pushing his helmet down, because I'm trying to remove myself from the situation, and as I'm getting up, I'm getting pushed, so I'm getting myself on balance."

This guy should "remove himself" from the league.

I've defended him before because this league has some messed up rules, but if his best defense is "I was regaining my balance" then man I can't do it.

Still would take him on my team though.

I wasn't aware that regaining balance meant that you had to stomp on a guy.

Clear stamping, in any non-combat sport that will get you thrown out of the game. Always has done, always will.

I think he's completey overrated. I mean, he's a good player, but even Regggie White wouldn't have been as good if he had this clown's temperment.

Here's a guy who could have been one of the most dynamic and popular players in the league.
Instead he's a self centered ego maniac. the Terrell Owens of the defense who feels everyone is against him.
I hope Roger hammers him.

It's a Thanksgiving game, a tradition for the Lions, you have to know all eyes will be on you. He could not have been more obvious. He was rightfully voted "dirtiest play int he NFL". I'm forseeing a ginormous fine. One more inncident and he may be suspended.

Eh, he did really well in his rookie year. The sophmore year is always tough for whatever reason. I don't think I would write him off after less then 2 seasons.

Obviously your fat ass has never been off the couch and actually played football!

Cause if you did, If you knew anything about football, you'd know the cleats in football shoes are not metal spikes. On top of that this was indoor so he was probably wearing rubber you dumb c unt.

Massive failure
