Now that was the lions I remember . Hell they came off a great victory over a team they have been snake bitten by the last few years, then come out and completely drop the ball. That was a disgusting display on sunday, even more than the last seasons when they got trampled every game. This year I kinda expect them to at least have a good showing, but this was awful.

The O-line showed it's true colors, they couldn't pass block a pop warner player. Kitna was running for his life all game and then started to rush his passes.

Another thing that I was disgusted by was the fact that Kevin Jones is back in the lineup. Happy feet prick has never hit a hole with a meaning in his career. I cant fuking stand this bum. For god sake, we went out and spent money on Tatum bell at least we could give him a oppurtunity to make something of himself. He hasn't produced much, but they haven't given him the ball to get in a rythm.

Lions of last year rear their ugly heads.

Whoa...easy Lefty.

Its the Lions remember? Whatever happens they'll have more victories than last season well, they should

They cant win on the road. Sure sign of an inferior team. Still have a few holes to fill like you said.

Jones gets his first start of the season on Sunday.

According to someone, That prompted T. Bell to demand a trade. The Lions said no to T. Bell and T. Bell came back with, ok I'll do whatever it takes to help this team win stuff.

Tatum slacked off on his trade talk, he said he is just unhappy with his playing time. Um yeah, I think he did ask for the trade and they said hell no, we have a back right now with a glass foot, so bell is kinda stuck.

To make things worse, tomlinson is on a bye and I am starting bell in my fantasy league.

I dont understand the choice to start KJ, the guy is a complete bum. Red watch the game this sunday and watch jones pitter patter in the hole every play. I get physically sick watching him play. Nothing good comes from Va Tech

I would love to see the Lions take two from chi-town this year, I cant remember the last time that happened. The o-line needs to sure some things up to give Kitna time to throw and the lions should be OK.

What's your prediction for Sunday Red? I give the win to the lions....barely

Until the Lions can prove they can win on the road against quality teams I have to go with Da Bears by 14 or more.

Even though I live near Detroit, the Lions front office has turned me away as a fan.

But, this year everything seems to be clicking, but I wouldn't say 10 wins just yet.

Despite the Lions away history and the Bears Home history... I think this game is going to be close.
Any of you detroit fans making the Trip? If you announce yourself here I promise not to throw peanuts are you.

Well red, the lions didn't lose by 14 and won on the road. What are we thinking about the 5-2 detroit lions?

KJ's fumble and inability to get first downs on 3rd and inches was my only low point of the game. Give the ball to TJ duckett if need be

The Lions are 5-2. Unreal.

Too bad we have the worst o-line in the league because Kitna's gonna get hurt sometime. It'd be nice to see CJ get used more and Bell as well but hey a wins a win. Playoffs are definitely a possibility now.

unless pitter patter happy pink shoes kevin jones gets hurt, we wont see bell for the rest of the season. I do think the post season is a real possibilty now, but I dont want to get myself in a tizzy. The lions are a kitna sack/injury away from not winning a game again. The lions NEED to protect kitna better no doubt.

I heard howie long say kitna has been sacked 90 times since mid season last year, the next guy in line was bulger at 67. That is a lot of abuse to take at the qb position.

I was impressed the Lions put together 4 quarters of football on the road in a division game.

I agree with Daaaa B's the O line is the sore spot that needs to get fixed

6-2 Detroit Lions!! I cant remember the last time I said this. A complete crotch stomping of the broncos and cutler. The lions defense looked like they were shot out of a cannon, especially shaun rogers with two sack and doing a great job of shutting down travis henry. The lions D outscored Denver's offense. Kitna and the 0-line looked great and Duckett got some carries. I friggin love this team.

We have the cardinals next, and then the giants at home. The giants game will be a real test and then it's on to green bay. I think my prediction of 8-8 was understated. The lions would have to completely collapse to hit that mark. Dare I say 10-6?

Are they playing Green Bay on Thanksgiving day? I saw only 71 yards running for the lead back, the "O" must have been all passing.
