The Lions offence put up over 100 more yars than Minny. They were much better on 3rd downs than Minny and had a lot more 1st downs. If a couple easy catches aren't dropped, Detroit wins that game. Or if Minny doesn't get a couple lucky special teams TD's, Detroit wins.

Schwartz is far too humble of a man. Minny's D-line did play great but that doesn't make them the better team.

It was pretty clear that you were worked up over Lefthook's posts. First off, you're a Minny fan in a Lions thread so you were obviously looking to get into an argument. Secondly, you immediately started throwing out insults at the Lions in response to a comment that wasn't wrong (227 total yards is anemic). I was just joking with the period (ever seen 'The Departed") comment but you now saying I was throwing a hissy fit is just sad. Kind of reminds me of the movie 'Road Trip' when the one kids Dad is flipping out and yells "I'm Not Mad" with a very angry look on his face.

Just read that Lions legend Alex Karras died this afternoon. Great player but also well known for playing Webster's dad on the show Webster.

Rest in Peace Mr. Karras from a Vikings fan. When he was on MNF he told it like it was, I vaguely remember him as a player but more hearsay from my Pop's and others. Also was great in Blazing Saddles.

You lost the game. Just because you passed for more yards down because they were down by 13 points for most of the fourth quarter doesn't mean they win. Your coach may be humble or not, but he's not delusional like you are.

Ignoring facts? The only fact you threw out there was that your team had more passing yards than mine. That doesn't mean you win the game. Never has.

But hey, I'm an Isles fan. That's about the same as being a Lions, fan. And sometimes as an isles fan, i am in denial too. So i understand.

Detroit and D line harassed convick all day, not sure how the fragile doll didn't come out complaining of rib injuries.

Staff looked much better and it almost looked like the Lions had a touch of a running game.

More total yards, not just passing. More first downs is a fact. Better on third downs is a fact. The vikes offense only putting up 6 points is a fact. An offense that puts up 6 points is anemic no matter how you want to spin it. If the Lions catch one or two of those dropped balls, they win the game. If the Vikings don't get the fluky special team TD's, the Lions win the game. Maybe saying the Lions were clearly the better team was a poor choice of words but Minny wasn't clearly the better either.

Schwartz was only talking about the Vikings d-line not the entire game and I already said the Vikes d-line played great.

No offense, but if you actually believe this comment then you know very little about sports. Not every team that loses a game deserved to lose said game. The better team doesn't always win, sports have always been that way.
