Imagine how many more returns he would have if teams actually punted to him more then twice a game. nobody has changed the return game like he has. never has a team avoided kicking the ball to a return guy like teams have against him. we will revisit this topic in a few more years when we get a better idea of his final numbers but i would be more shocked if he isn't voted in.

i kinda get the feeling that your feeling this way because your a Bears hater and thats the only reason.

and you say good/great 2-3 times a year? how about 2-3 times a game. if he isn't returning it for a TD then he usually gets 20-30 yards each time on a punt and 30-50 on a kickoff.

no it's not...it has to do with the fact the thug can't run a route or catch the ball unless no one is really around i.e. punt or kickoff return. yeah he's good, but not even close to hall of fame worthy...

you are far off on those stats guy...he has 9 out of 122 kick returns (14 of 127 in all) for over 40 yards that weren't touchdowns and 29 out of 173 punt returns (40 of 184 in all) over 20 yards that weren't touchdowns. oh and how many negative returns from him running backwards instead of forwards? or the 26 career fumbles too?

I don't understand your point. Every great player has numbers on the bad side of the stat sheet. That would be like me saying Favre isn't a HOFer cause he has the most INTs all time. His good out weighs the bad by a huge margin. WR wise he has gotten better each year. He does pretty good considering he was never a WR in his lifetime until a few years ago.

he has not gotten better as a wide receiver...he still can't run a damn route unless its a go route or a screen pass. he drops/doesn't catch half the balls thrown his way.

my point with the stats was that he is as great as you made him out to be with the numbers you threw out there.

Ok...a player to make the hall of fame needs to be a very good/great player a his every down position. For hester, that's wide receiver. He is absolutely piss poor/mediocre at it. If he were good at it, thn maybe the special teams play would help him. But because he is so bad at his every down position, he should be nowhere close to the hall of fame unless visiting, let alone elected in on the 1st ballot.

Good Win in London Town yesterday.
The only problem with i have with it, was the fact they let Tampa back into the game after blowing a huge lead.

4-3 going into the bye. Thats a lot better than most people thought after a very Tumultuous start.

was looking on wikipedia at some things on the bears and On McCaskey's page I noticed on the last line is states:
Quote:
On October 26, 2011, she engaged in talks with the Chicago Tribune about selling the franchise

That would be awesome. I tried searching online for any stories with no luck. anyone else know anything about this or is it just rumors?
