I know Chicago has beat some so so teams and hasslebeck and the titans are not very good, but this defense is amazing. Tillman is friggin the most under rated db in the league.
I watched Tillman two weeks ago make Pettigrew from the Lions look like he belonged back in pop Warner causing him to fumble three times. Briggs is a beast and Urlacher is as always. I'm looking forward to the bears/texans this Sunday

Crazy watching Tillman just punching the ball out of other guy's hands. And he has done this over his career but seems to of mastered it over the last year or so. I've never seen a defense create so many turnovers before. And how often they have scored on defense is unreal.
But the next 2 weeks will be the true measuring stick for how good this defense/team actually is. They need more consistency out of the offense to win these games. |

Great start to the season, but like Dodge mentioned, the next two games should show how we measure up to some solid NFL talent.
I expect the offense to continue to get better, and lets not forget Tice has never been an OC. Hes learning on the job, thank god we have some marque players to make up for that learning curve. BEAR DOWN!

This team remind any Bears fans of the team that went to the super bowl a few years ago? seems like the defense is talking Hester's place as the scorer. You guys should have a field day with Christian Plunder.

Hell of a test coming up for Da Bears with Houston rolling into Soldier Field. Should be a great game to watch, looking forward to it quite a bit.

not really for me just because in 06 the offense was horrible. this year the offense has the ability to actually be great and has shown signs of doing so at times. much better QB and WRs. but they are very much alike defensively but i actually think they are better this year.

Well I was waiting to go bonkers until after yesterday (and next week)... Glad I waited. Always fun to see that 3yd pass on a 3rd and 9... Some things never change. Still a long road left though and it's not like the defense didn't show up.

Now with Cutler likely out for Mondays Game..
Bears fans are quite skeptical here in Chicago. However Jason Campbell is a very solid Veteran backup, and call me crazy but i think he can get the job done. My thought was that he'll do a better job of trying to spread the ball to the other receivers rather than keying on Marshall every time. I we can get a bit more balanced, i think we should be able to score at least 20 points on SF. The Bears Defense will still have to keep the pace to beat a very solid SanFrancisco team. Bear Down

so after getting embarrassed on Monday night, the Bears bounce back and defeat a division opponent. What a difference Jay has on this team.
Now with another version of the O-line in place, what can we expect when teams load up to get at the QB. Hopefully they hold up and the defense continues to play high level football.

Terrible game but i had a great time attending.
Friends Food Booze... that what its all about. Although A win would have been nice too. Interesting tid-bit. After we left the game with about 5 minutes to go, we ended up at Bar Louie right there in the south loop (Printers Row) as we were dominating our Nachos i notice Bob Babich (Bears Linebacker Coach) hanging out just like us Joes. So as any true Bears fan I asked him what happened and we both kind shrugged our shoulders.. an expected response. But what clicked after our short exchange was the idea ... what the hell was he doing there and how did he get there so fast. We left with about 3 minutes to go, but got to the place shortly after three. Shouldn't he have still been at the game? I just thought the timing for him to be quite odd.
