RIP Pascual Perez... MLB pitcher in 1980s & 90s

Found dead in his home back in the Dominican Republic, it looks like murder

http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/85...nican-republic

He was actually a pretty good and competetant pitcher for a few years, (and a real character on the mound, very animated) he had good stuff as a pitcher. His brother Melido was the lone good starter on those early 1990s yankee teams (I also like Tim Leary in those teams) but Pascual was a decent pitcher

Back to Pascual he also helped start a EPIC and i mean EPIC 'basebrawl' between the Braves and Expos around 1986 or so involving 1 of my all time favorite baseball players (Nettles) and others a real rugged fight for baseball!

RIP to him and family, very sad what happened

I remember Pascual and Melido. My dads a Yanks fan, so I had to watch lots of games back then. My fondest memory is of that jherry curl mullet Pascual had. Also remember the brawl. I am pretty sure I have his baseball card buried away somewhere.

I remember his high lob pitch he used to throw once in awhile. I feel like I just posted this in another thread about 2 months ago. Not sure what that thread was about though.
