The part gets me is teams were offering 3 years and he was holding out for 4. He is 32 now and will be 37 when it is over. Besides tough place to hit for a lefty HR hitter. Not like Texas that is for sure.

Yeah, its a year or 2 than I would have done and it's a lot of money.
However they undoubtedly have the best lineup in baseball. Trout, Pujols, and Hamilton is one of the best collection of hitters in history.
