Johan Santana throws first Mets no hitter

For those that didn't see it, watch a highlight of it and you'll see Beltran should have had a base hit in the 6th inning but some dumbass blew it.

Dude, don't rain on my thread I started. Change it back to the way it was then you can post your gripe.

I saw the replay. The call could legitimately have gone either way.

A well-deserved CONGRATS to Santana and the Mets!!!!! The no-no drought is broken!

Actually the time was the same, the point being this is a huge moment in Met/baseball history and the thread title sucks!

Not that I care if you gripe but as a Met fan I would like to see something that shows more respect for what Santana did.

Who is the Mod who combined the thread?

Congrats to Johan. He came close a few times as a Twinkie, but just missed it.

Haha, I don't know, I was just screwing with you!

But man, finally something good happens to this team during my time as a Mets fan. (though I'm a very sh*tty Mets fan!)

Hey, so far this has been a pretty damn good year for the teams I follow.

Giants- SB
Rangers- Obviously would have won the Cup if not for the injuries
Knicks- Finally won a playoff game
Mets- Better start then expected and now the no-hitter!

Been a great sports year for me too with the Giants winning the Super Bowl and the Devils in the Finals. The no-hitter was just gravy.

I follow the Sens and Patriots, so I don't much like your NY grandstanding right now.

It also sucks ass that the Expos are top of the NL East playing in the wrong damn city...

Watched the play again. The ball hit the line and was probably fair. So what. Santana didn't make the call.

Yohan deserves every bit of the credit he's being given, for what was a masterfully pitched game.
