A horrible end to a great Met! Will always be grateful for 1986. You and Mex provided many great moments during your time with NY and if this is the last championship the Mets ever see the memories will not soon be forgotten. RIP Kid! |

Hate to hear this. I remember him in spring training in Daytona in '78' while playing for the Expos. If there was ever a baseball player that was as nice as a hockey player, it was Gary Carter. R.I.P.
