Wonder what Cespedes numbers look like if he wasn't injured.

Trout and Harper. Harper's numbers aren't outstanding, but he did help make the Nat's run.

Trout should win no contest. And to think he missed like 20 games because he was in the minors. Harper will get the award not based on his numbers but on his celebrity status.

What is wrong with Harper's numbers? 26 doubles and 22 hr's and a 270 average isn't too shabby. The only knock I could see is the 120 strikeouts

Fair point but it still doesn't change Harper's numbers and what he meant to the Nats, plus Frazier had over a hundred plate appearances last year, does anybody know what the cut off is to be still considered for rookie of the year the following year?

the nats pitching helped more than bryce harper did to get that team where it was...along with adam laroche's career year

I didn't say he carried them on his back but if you don't think he should be ROY that is your opinion, I just disagree. I do agree though that it is pretty much a popularity contest and in three years or even two who won won't mean squat.
