Of late, the Cy Young hasn't been about the playoffs, just the pitcher with the best stats - see King Felix from a few years back.

I would've given it to Dickey, but wouldn't have had a problem with Kershaw. I thought Verlander deserved it in the AL, but don't have THAT big of a problem with Price.
Did Dickey throw a no-hitter every start? Then terrible logic. If he did, then of course he would deserve the Cy Young. But he didn't, so what does it matter?

I knew that post would draw your ire as we've already discussed this, but I'm just not buying it, man. I think pitchers who have great command of several pitches, know how to approach different hitters, and work counts are much more deserving of the CYA than eephus junkers.

Jeezus, he lead the league in IP and Ks, who gives a sh*t how he did it? You talk about logic, but I'm not seeing any in your argument. Just look at Dickey's results! No sabermetrics involved (well, except for ERA).
