Verlander and Dickey. Pretty solid numbers on a cruddy Mets squad. Would love to see a knuckleballer win also

Verlander and Dickey. Dickey had the opposing hitters confused most of the time with his unque pitch, would have been a shoe in if he was on a better team.

Price and Gonzalez.....but im sure gonzalez won't because of the love affair with dickey. because without gonzalez, the nats would not have been that damn good, especially after strasburg got shut down

Price should win this award. Nothing against Verlander but if he had Price's numbers (ERA and W-L record) he would win this hands down but because it's Price with the numbers some people don't want to buy into him winning.

Congrats to Dickey but in my opinion a junkballer with one pitch is NOT the best pitcher in any league.

Good point, but he did change his style and approach to remain a relevant pitcher as he got older. I think it is pretty cool that a knuckler, and not the knuckler the poster, won the Cy Young. Its a lost art.

And that still makes ZERO sense. So if a knuckleballer throws nothing but no-hitters, he's not the best pitcher in baseball? SMH

I would've given it to Dickey, but wouldn't have had a problem with Kershaw. I thought Verlander deserved it in the AL, but don't have THAT big of a problem with Price.

Kershaw had the better ERA, the better WHIP, pitched more innings, and had more strikeouts. Where is the debate?

so leading the league in stupid stats and a team to a division title in one race matters, but being the main cog of a team along with having good stats doesn't in another award...oh how that doesn't make any sense.
