from my conversation with him, while he liked Russia and the pay, he has always wanted back to the AHL and he said it is coming true. not Crunch, and could not name team, but AHL

Brandon Sugden will break the news were he is going when HE feels, it is not anyones business other than his to inform the masses..... Do I know were he is going yes, an I going to say anything about it, NO... There are alot of things you do not know about Sugar, but when he says that he is back in shape and ready to break heads, well I will pity the fools in the league that he is going, because I have yet to hear him so determined to get back on the ice.....

Possible Fights 9/19/05
That was the post that finally did him in. I love when sh*t like that happens and it becomes literally impossible for someone to talk themselves out of their lies.

How fitting would it be if he signs with Rochester and comes to Syracuse and just destroys the so called Crunch tough guys Jacques, Bodie, and Brittan! Perhaps then the organization would realize how quickly they have fallen from the days of the Nasty Boys to the current *****cat Girls team.

As for coming back to lay against cuse that would be sweet, as long as he does what he says,. Smash heads. |

That was me who was hoping Sugden would return. Mirasty did not fit Holick's plans for the team, so he got moved to the ECHL and beyond. Unfortunately, as long as the Ducks are here, I do not expect Nasty to wear a Crunch sweater.
Wherever Sugar ends up, I can only wish him the best as he works to regain his reputation. He is going to be the "Old Gunslinger" now, with the youngsters looking to gain rep from him. Ray, Bonvie, and Brash answered the bell for him when he came calling, I expect him to have the same respect for the youngsters when they knock on his door. |

If he joins the AHL i would say he's still in the same class or better than the likes of Matt Kassian, Anthony Peluso, Francis Lessard, Eric Godard, D.J King, Patrick Bordeleau, Joel Rechlicz, Trevor Gillies, Justin Johnson, Luke Gazdic.. ect.. If he joins the LNAH he should be one of the toughest guy in that league, with Martin Grenier and the other big names like Sean McMorrow, Joel Theriault, Brandon Christian and Thomas Bellamare. If he joins the CHL then he's as good as Mike Sgroi, Brett Clouthier, Brent Henley, and above the likes of Erick Lizon and Jason Goulet. If he joins the ECHL id say he's the top guy in that league above the likes of Alex Penner, Riley Emmerson, Tim Spencer , Mike Hoffman and Scott Fletcher. So what ever league Sugden joins he's still going to be a top fighter. |
