Sean McMorrow Sentenced to 24 Months in Prison

McMorrow, a Canadian citizen, wiped tears from his eyes upon hearing the sentence. He will also be deported once he has completed his prison term.

Under the federal guidelines, McMorrow could have faced a possible 41 to 51 months in prison. Larimer said the guidelines were "too great" in imposing the lesser sentence.

Never worth the few dollars he would have made. Understand his g/f in from New York so he is stuck in Canada for the rest of his life. Gonna be tough times for ol' huggy bear for the next 24 months

Bull****. Don't get me wrong, it's an incredibly dumb move to smuggle something illegal into the US, especially considering how insane they are about drugs, but weed? Really? Who the **** cares? 24 months is better than some of the alternatives I suppose. Super nice guy. Does good behaviour still get you out early? Hopefully, for McMorrow's sake.

I heard he was stopped b4 and warned to stop. They let him off with a warning but he continued and also was using mules to import besides doing it himself. When u start importing over 100lbs u r only going to continue and it will only get worse. Guess the authorities decided it was time to put the stop to it

The guy plead guilty to importing 220 pounds. Whether or not I agree with big brother's laws on the magical green weed, I'll leave out of it.

But for pete's sake, Mc... Not a bright chain of thought over those years here in the Roc. The judge had to sentence for the crime. 2 years from the man in black behind the bench... good behavior will get him out 3 months early.

#19080-055 is now at Moshannon Valley, a prison out in central PA. It's a low security facility with mainly non-violent immigrants offenders, and most of them being of the Mexican variety.
