River Kings Come To Terms With Six Players
(Cornwall, ON) The LNAH (North American Hockey League) Cornwall River Kings have come to terms with six players. Those contracts still need league approval before being completed.
The River Kings are pleased with the first batch of players who have agreed to skate for the Cornwall club in its inaugural season. They are: •First overall pick Sasha Pokulok. A first rounder in 2005 to the Washington Capitals (14th overall) •Goalie Maxime Daigneault. A 2nd round draft pick (59th overall) to the Capitals in 2002 •Veteran Steve Simoes known as a great leader off and on the ice will be a fan favorite. •Former Pembroke Lumber Kings defenceman Ryan Sullivan. •Former Toronto Maple Leafs draft pick and former Akwesasne Warrior, Nicolas Corbeil. •Defenceman Nicolas Sigouin who played for the LNAH Windsor Wild last season.
