Well at the end of the trade deadline it looks like St hyacinthe got the best deals done, SS****tttt I would trade Brunel for Joesph in a heart beat.
Shawn Futurs(sp?) for Jonathan Villeneuve is another trade wich only makes St Hyacinthe stronger. By making those trades it did two things. 1) it made St Hyacinthe a much stonger team all around, but I personally don't think it made them strong enough to win the championship. 2) Sherbrooke got weaker as a team because Yann was a very big part of there team, Sherbrookes chemistry on the team was the best in the league, but after the St Jean game it looked like that chemistry was not all there. I quess only time will see who really got the best out of the trades that were made at the deadline. |

I forgot you had Cody now...i dont know i still think you dont give away toughness in the LNAH..i mean a guy like Brunel isnt going anywhere he is a lifer i mean other than Fechette are any of those guys going to be back next year? who knows..but you know Brunel will be..but i suppose in the LNAH you play for this season..i understand you need scoring but i just dont think you give up toughness in the way of Brunel for it..but on the other hand you got to give something up to get something so...

Yeah don't get me wrong, Brunel was one of my favorite players and everyone agrees he was a tough price to pay, but we really needed to fill in some scorers on the top line. Needham filled in great for us as a top 6 forward but now we can move him down to the 3rd line to fill in the role Craig had.
You're right, nobody knows if any of these guys besides Frechette are going to be back but we have to play for the season. I don't even know if the team is going to be back so I will be happy with them playing for the season. I think we will be alright in the toughness department here on out. McMorrow and Hand are easily #1's and Frechette is probably a #2 but will gladly take on any #1. Doucette, Termini, Needham, Baum...good depth guys. Tennant and McIntyre have shown they can fight when they get mad. And I guess Stan Melanson has shown in the past he can fight even if he doesn't seem to want to fight this season. |

Oh ya in terms of toughess right now Top is fine..i was just speaking in terms of future with Brunel..ya i hope they dont lose the team there..the league is up and down with a team folding and a new one pops up..it would be nice to see a stable league with about 10 solid teams and all the owners on the same page..and not having these teams that may fold every other weekend and players not getting paid,or getting part of their salary makes the league look bush and in a league that has a hard time getting players already, that aint good.

Sorry not to be rude to anybody but St Hyacinthe needed someone who could put the puck in the net, the have depth in toughness, as tough as a team is if you don't put the puck in the net you are not goimg to win the championship, Yann Joseph is one of those players who can not only put the puck in the net but he is a player that can change the face of a game on his own...
Two thumbs up to St Hyacinthe for there deadline deals.... |
