IHL: We need Danbury back!

This kind of play makes even the Danbury Trashers look tame by comparison. If only the IHL would be allowed to sell this kind of product. You can't tell me games wouldn't have more than 200-1,500 more fans taking in games.

Complete and total ****ing mayhem right here guys. The crazyness starts at the 30 second mark, though it gets completely out of control at the 1 minute mark. Coaches almost go at it, all hell breaks loose.

IHL needs entertainment back period. Fighting seems to be happening less than 1/2 as much as last year. There's no emotion in the league. I don't even care about the IHL this years

Hump's right, this sort of stuff makes the Wingfield/Mirasty combination the Trasher's had look like choir boys.

ahh, yes that was a obvious statement but needed to be pointed out. That **** would never fly nor happen in the IHL or any league like that. Half the team would be suspended for many games along with the coaches being fined beyond what they make in a season. That brawl does nothing more then provide entertainment. Neither of those two teams could hack it in the IHL and it doesn't matter whether Danbury used to play in the UHL or not. If Danbury was in the IHL that would not have happened therefore it is completely irrelevant to the IHL forum.

I miss Danbury and Adirondack being part of the league but it doesn't change things. Mirasty & Wingfield would pound the **** out of the entire roster of the Danbury team. Sure a little bench clearing brawl looks really tough and all but none of those guys are tough. Wilcox was by far the toughest guy on the ice and that includes Payne, Haun & Tibbetts. And Wilcox couldn't hack it in the UHL 2 years back and wasn't a factor in the SPHL since.

I'd rather go back and watch Winger, Mirasty, Ndur, Belenger, Christiansen & Hickey brawl with the best of the UHL any day over watching Payne, Haun, & Cosmos have garbage boring fights with the EPHL. Choir boys? Really, I understand you have man love for Tedstone but come on now. Mirasty and Winger put these kids to shame and they did it against much tougher competition.

Yeah this was a great brawl. Too bad the AHL has pretty much got rid of this too. Not since Lowell-Norfolk 2004-05 have we seen this in the upper level.

You spent an awful lot of words there just to say "Wrong forum."

I don't think anyone is arguing that. Mirasty is in the AHL and Wingfield the LNAH. It doesn't get much tougher than either of those guys especially when you're comparing them to an A league. Besides Mike Haun is smaller than me and I am only 5'7 if I spike my hair up and wear a pair of boots.

I think you pretty much missed my point and some of the sarcasm, but I'll indulge you anyway. Yes I'm more than happy to call Brendan an aquaintance, but the fact that in this day and age we actually saw a bench clearer in any pro/semi-pro league outside the LNAH is fairly remarkable regardless of who it involved. Hell I don't give the credit for it happening to Tedstone, there was going to be nothing going on at all until Mac got involved. Wouldn't ya know, a former Trasher starting some sh!t.
