According to Drulia he isn't afraid to drop the gloves. He's expected to be physical in Traning Camp to make the team.

I think it's getting less and less likely for him to come back unless a scenario happens like last year, where we had no true heavyweight and Drulia realizes he's gotta bring him back, other than that with him not here to attend training camp at this point i think the chances are pretty slim that he comes back.

yea i was thinking the same. Its not lookin like hes gonna come back. Can he come back at anytime during the season though? Like mid January for example. Is there any kind of stipulation that could prevent that?

Wanted to let you guys know that I heard that Musky has 3 or 4 tough guys coming to camp. Also the Wings have 3 or 4 coming to camp to. I am going to Wings camp tuesday and wed so I will post who all is there, they hand out sheets with players names on them. I have heard minor rumors that a Chl player that was just on a try out may be heading to the Wings camp, and he is a fighter.

Is a player who had 140 PIMs in 64 games with no fights, according to hockeyfight.com database, considered a fighter? The last time he had 12 fights is a season was in 03-04.

Does Eurohockey keep track of fights?

He has fought 86 times in his career. Typically he gets in 5-10 fights a year. So yes, he belongs on the list.

04-05: 6 fights

06-07: 6 fights

Other than that he's been in Europe, i have no clue if he fought over there.
