CHL Suspends Darryl Bootland for Tonight's Game 4 of CHL Finals

GLENDALE, AZ – The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Allen Americans forward Darryl Bootland has been suspended one (1) game and will miss Game 4 of the Ray Miron Presidents’ Cup Finals on Sunday. Wichita leads the best-of-7 series two games to one.

Bootland received a Match Penalty for a high stick in the third period of the Game 3 loss and as a consequence will miss today’s game. Bootland was observed to commit a dangerous and careless act with his stick.

Game 4 is scheduled for Sunday at the INTRUST Bank Arena with face-off scheduled for 5:05 PM (CT).

Islander fans will be very upset about this suspension even though he played a handful of games for them.

They talked about him like he was a mixture of Gilles , Godard & Carins = combined
