CHL Suspends Anthony Perdicaro Two Games for Abuse of Officials
GLENDALE, AZ – The Central Hockey League (CHL) announced today that Quad City Mallards forward Anthony Perdicaro has been suspended two games (2) as a result of his actions in Tuesday’s game versus Bloomington.
Perdicaro was assessed an Abuse of Officials Game Misconduct (Rule 40) in the second period of the Mallards 4-1 loss to the Blaze as he was observed pushing the official (with significant force) to break free of the official’s grasp in order to re-engage with the opponent. Perdicaro will miss both Mallards games this weekend (Feb. 15 vs. Rapid City and Feb. 16 vs. Arizona). |

Perdicaro got the shaft
If anyone actually watched this game, you would've seen Perdicaro get shoved into the ice by Granbois, then get cut by him under his eye. The ref wouldn't let Perdicaro near Granbois, as the weasel stood on the ice and laughed with all the other Bloomington players as to what they just got away with.
These officials are THE WORST and shouldn't be allowed to even officiate PeeWee leagues. The CHL really needs to look into getting new officials. The blatant favoritism shown to some of the CHL teams is disgusting, and lots of fans are getting fed up. |
