Blaze Acquire Brett Lutes from Cutthroats for Michael Trebish
The Bloomington Blaze, fueled by Mid-Illini Credit Union, have traded rookie defenseman Michael Trebish to the Denver Cutthroats for veteran forward Brett Lutes.
Lutes reunites with Blaze coach Brian Gratz, who coached Lutes in the previous two seasons in the Central Hockey League with the Dayton Gems. Lutes has recorded 59 goals and 123 assists for 182 points in his 195-game CHL career that includes stops in Colorado, Dayton and Denver. Lutes has registered four goals and 19 assists for 23 points in 27 games this season with the Cutthroats. Trebish has seven assists and 61 penalty minutes with a +7 rating in 39 games this season with the Blaze, his only professional games after a four-year collegiate career at Ferris State University. |
