I've been umpiring baseball for over three years now, and I thought I've seem some ****ty calls before, but this one deserves some kind of award. That is ****ing awful!

It was Dan Mirouelli's nephew that made the call. What is it with NHL refs and their sh*tty kids and family members? The Koharski brothers are by far the worst refs the AHL has ever seen, and now this goof blows a call so incredibly bad it gets the E a mention on Yahoo.

"Off ice officials continue to look up the rules." Shouldn't play stop until there's a postive call on a play? There no sense of looking up the rules after the fact.


I'm no hockey expert but it's never the goalie's job to put the net back on it's morning is it?

Yeah the reasoning made no sense at all. The whistle should have been blown as soon as Florida entered the zone.
