According to the radio feed, Sullivan got the better of Kinkel.

There was no game between Cincinnati and Dayton tonight.

Here's the explanation from the Cincinnati website, www.cycloneshockey.com.

DAYTON, Ohio – The Cincinnati Cyclones did not win a game Sunday afternoon. They did not lose one either.

The Cyclones game against the Dayton Bombers at the Nutter Center was postponed after a faulty hydraulic line on the Zamboni ice resurfacer kept the machine from functioning properly. Unable to repair the ice after the warm-up period, in the interest of player safety, the game was called off.

Tuesday should be interesting too..I may have to listen to that one. Actually, those guys will most likely be suspended and watching from the stands..

Oh geez!!! It was a brutal game the whole time. We figured it was just a matter of time before a big fight broke out. The first one between Stamoulis & MacMillan was quick but looked painful (for Stamoulis ). There appeared to be a lot of trash talk between everybody and lots of sneaky stuff going on.

Once we got the 5th goal it was just a matter of time. It was getting to the point that the linesmen and ref were always watching the lines change as there was a lot of pushing and shoving in front of the benches.

Someone shoved Stoesz and he turned around and went after the first guy he could get too (Stefanishion) and got in his face. The linesman was in the process of separating them when another guy, LaLonde I believe, leaned over from the bench and punched Stoesz in the side of the head.

Stoesz then went after LaLonde and LaLonde got the snot pounded out of him (if it was him in fact...there was a lot of other stuff going on on the outskirts). Again the linesman tried to get between them when I have to assume MacMillan went after Stoesz. They only got a couple of punches in until the linesman pretty much toppled over onto Stoesz knocking him down.

However, Stoesz had MacMillan by the shirt and pulled him on top of the linesman. MacMillan got in one or two cheap shots but I think the linesman was the real loser in that last scuffle.

Then we had to wait forever while they tried to figure out the penalties. The sucky part is during the game they announced that Stoesz got one game misconduct. On the way home on the radio, he suddenly had 2 of them. I get home and check the box score and now he has 3 of them. Oh well.

Well hopefully Jon Sitko will be healthy enough to play plus I'm thinking the new guy we got, Chad Denny, might be able to dole out some ass whoopin'.

Now if I'll only be able to talk by Tuesday night...

seriously a jules....i doubt Jon Sitko is going to make any difference and chad denny as well..myles is going to have his hands full all season long...i hate to see them go to south carolina....i thought i would never say this but they need that cheap shot adam smyth back.

By the way could you give me your thoughts on Stoesz performance playwise, so far?
I'm hoping for him to get a shot up in AHL this season.

By the way more toughness might be added to Gwinnets lineup, Guilleaume Desbiens have been scratched every game so far in AHL. I would assume that he will be sent down, atleast for conditioning.

Yeah id give it to Sullivan wasnt that good of a fight.They went off the faceoff had a nice long square off then came together and maybe threw 3-5 punches each the whole fight mostly they were just clinched up .Kinkel went down to a knee once in the fight dont know if it was balance or if Sullivan connected. but id say edge Sullivan in a long boring fight, but I guess it was better than nothing. Should of brought my camera will probably bring it when they play Gwinnett Thursday night.
