Gwinnett Signs Dustin Jackson and Yuri Bouharevich
The Gwinnett Gladiators have agreed to terms with forwards Dustin Jackson and Yuri Bouharevich for the 2012-13 season. Jackson earned 10 points (two goals, eight assists) last season at the University of Denver in 42 games. The Omaha, Nebraska, native played four seasons with the Pioneers. Jackson set his collegiate career high during his first season with the Pioneers in 2007-08. He earned 13 points (five goals, eight assists) in 37 games. In his sophomore season, he recorded 12 points (three goals and nine assists) in 38 games.
Prior to his collegiate career, Jackson played one season with the Southern Minnesota Express where he earned 47 points (16 goals, 31 assist) in 61 games in 2006-07. He played with the Billing Bulls for two seasons from 2004-2006 and earned 63 points (25 goals, 38 assists) in a combined 97 games.
Bouharevich earned 17 points (6 goals, 11 assists) in 35 games last season at Quinnipiac University as a senior. He earned his fourth consecutive selection to the ECAC All Academic Team last year.
Bouharevich is from Montreal, Quebec and played his entire collegiate career at Quinnipiac University. In his third season with the Bobcats, he set his career high when he earned 19 points (eight goals, 11 assists) in 39 games. In his first season as a Bobcat he played in 33 games and earned six points (two goals, four assists).
Before Bouharevich’s four seasons with the Bobcats, he played one junior season in 2007-2008 with the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs. He skated in 42 games and earned 40 points (22 goals, 18 assists).
