Kevin Colley announced today that the team has signed defenseman Evan Stoflet.
Stoflet, who played for Utah from 2008-09, returns to the Grizzlies, entering his sixth professional season. He split last year between the ECHL’s
Elmira Jackals and in Denmark. Stoflet’s ties to Utah run deep as he has lived in the state since 1996.
In 204 career ECHL games with Utah, Bakersfield and Elmira; Stoflet, 28, has seven goals and 43 assists for 50 points and a +26. Stoflet’s +21 with Utah in 2008-09, is the team’s second-highest single season rating since 2000 and the best by a Grizzlies defenseman since 2000.
