PRINCETON, N.J. – The ECHL on Saturday announced the following fine and suspensions.
Cincinnati’s Conboy suspended
Cincinnati’s
Andrew Conboy has been suspended for one game under Rule #23.5 as a result of incurring three game misconducts for aggressor.
Conboy will miss Cincinnati’s game at Fort Wayne tonight (Feb. 2).
Utah’s Schultz fined, suspended
Utah’s
Ian Schultz has been suspended pending a review and fined an undisclosed amount as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #526, Utah at Ontario, on Feb. 1.
Schultz was assessed a major penalty and game misconduct for boarding under Rule #41.5 at 9:28 of the second period. He is fined and suspended under Rule #28 – Supplementary Discipline.
Schultz will miss Utah’s game at Ontario tonight (Feb. 2) and any further discipline will be announced next week.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players’ Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player’s Hardship Fund.
