ECHL Players Crossing the Pond

Since it appears players have already begun signing overseas who'd played in the ECHL in the 2008-09 season, I thought I'd start this thread so folks can keep up.

I can either keep editing the list every time another name is posted, or we can make separate posts out of this.

For those of you who don't know the site link, here it is.

This one is more surprising than the other 3.

Didn't Griffith come back from Europe mid-season last year? I wonder why he's going back?

OneilltheGiant 06-02-2009 02:25 PM

Apparently he only left because he was told of a possible AHL call up if he played in the ECHL.. That never came about so he decided to go back to Newcastle Vipers..

I do recall him getting hurt at least a couple of times this year, so that may have put a hamper on any recalls.

I cant find it now but I was surprised by Dan Sullivan signing overseas. It was posted along with another signing a couple of weeks ago.

Sully's been a staple in the ECHL for quite a few years, maybe he's just ready for a change?

chilly666 06-22-2009 01:13 PM

hey pf the sullivan thing was just a rumor, its not official yet.
