Congratulations to the Florida Everblades!

With their 3-2 OT win over Las Vegas tonight, they are your 2011-2012 Kelly Cup champions!

Possibly the most frustrating series to watch as a Vegas fan. Vegas was the more skilled team and dominated much of the series, however Muse stood on his head. Even though he flopped around like a fish out of water anytime someone was near him, he flat out was the best player on the ice every game. If another goalie is in net for Florida, they don't win.

The officiating was the ABSOLUTE WORST I have ever seen in a hockey playoff series. The Refs in both Vegas and Florida, and the Linesmen in Florida, called the game like they've never watched a hockey game before. The **** they called vs the **** they should have called was insane. Two guys yappin after a whistle is a penalty for only one team, and grabing a guys ankle and yanking him to the ice is a good play. Must of missed the ECHL getting a new rulebook.

If I were the ECHL I would be embarrassed employing these jokers.

Big credit to the Florida offense for capitalizing on the opportunities they were given. They were able to create turnovers in the neutral zone, and take them down the ice for a goal. Seems like everytime they scored was off a turnover.

All in all it was a decent series to watch if you're a hockey fan. Some big hits, couple fights, a few scrums, but like I said the officiating was brutal.

I am really not sure what series you were watching. Did the wranglers look like the better team when the blades scored seven unanswered goals in game two? Florida was the better team with the better players, better coaching, and superior goaltender. They proved it last night with better skating and puck handling. The blades speed through the neutral zone was a problem for the Wranglers defense all series and led to many odd man rushes and goals. Yes, muse did stand on his head, but that is what wins playoff games and championships.

Aside from Game 2 I thought the Wranglers controlled most of the series. If it wasn't for Muse standing on his head and making some key saves in each game in Florida it could of easily been 4-1 the other way. All last night proved was that Muse was MVP of the series. Wranglers dominated the whole game. Florida was outshot 43-29. In game 3 with under 3 to go, the Wranglers had the lead. All they had to do was hold on.

This series was a lost closer than the final outcome presumes. It could of easily been 4-1 the other way and thats all I had to say. I gave credit were credit was due. John Muse should be a starter in the AHL, and could eventually be one in the N.

Thats the type of officiating the NHL wants currently. Say hello to the trickle effect.

the bad echl officiating is not because of the nhl...it's because the refs are just that bad in the league.

see colorado-ontario game from earlier this season where the ref lost all control, tried to get it back and then the game got further out of control due to his bad or blown calls.

The officiating in the ECHL is decent all things considered and is better than the NHL, but it was a problem in this series. The one sided roughing calls really annoyed me. That's a fast way to kill a series. But both teams still played hard and we got some great hockey.

Hell of a series by the Wranglers. They really pushed hard and have a tremendous team.

It sure feels good to lift the Cup though!

Go Swampee!

Did not see the Las Vegas Games, but was at the games in Estero - imo officiating was not terrible, and did not seem to have a bias.

Weston [52] raped (and hurt)one of the Blades in game 3 with no call. Piche could have had a charging in game 5, and Irwin had plenty of extra action in game 5.

On the whole I thought the ref let them play. Sure wish the NHL was half as fun.

In any event, looking forward to a 35 minute drive to Bears vs. the 2.5 hours to Estero next year. But would give Blades a big thumbs up for anyone who is vacationing in the area.

Congrats Blades! Go Solarbears!!!
