Should be a good series. Reading just seems like they are a team of destiny. Getting all the bounces this playoffs, but I think Stockton will give them a run for their money. I'll be rooting for your boys, but best of luck to both teams!

The Royals take game 1 in OT 6-5,, What a game. The boys from Stockton played OK, I say this because I've watched them all year and know we can play better. We were out shot, out hit, they won puck possession and neutral Ice,, in a nut shell, to me,, they out played us in game 1,,, now with that being said. We still hung with them, matched them goal for goal, and losing in OT is a credit to this team. They never got down, and showed just what their made off,,, HEART AND GUTS. Stockton will be fine,, were not going anywhere. This should be a very good series. I expect the boys from the 209 to bounce back today and play more like I'm use to seeing them play. We just play our game,, we leave Reading with a 1-1 series and have home Ice advantage. So I tip my cap to the Royals for a nice win in game 1,, just don't get to excited,, this is a long way from being over.

i work at the arena in reading. didnt get to see much of the game today but judging by the score of 4-0 stockton might be in trouble. the royals beatwriter tweeted that the royals have lost 4 games started by riley gill since they signed him. i dont forsee a sweep but i think reading wins 1 of 3 in cali and wins the series in game 6 back in reading.

stockton seems like a good team but i dont think they are as good as either cincy or FLA

Stockton has yet to play their game,, hopefully that comes at home. We are not out of this, but we do need the game 3 in a big way. Good job Royals, you did what you had to do,,, now the series moves back home for 3. Should have big loud crowds in the barn for all 3. I'm ready to be loud and proud of the boys.

Stockton off to a good start so far in the early minutes of game 3. I still think the Royals take the series, but in no way will it be a sweep. I'm honestly hoping for a 7 game series. These playoffs have been so spectacular. I have a lot of problems with the way Stockton played against Vegas. They did more chirping and taunting in one series than Sean Avery did his whole career. Thankfully, they cut that crap out after the semifinals, but that comes back to bite you eventually, and the cracks were showing over the weekend. The Royals by contrast have played hard as f*ck from the first game of the first round.

So much for this "historic" night. The comeback kids failed to deliver. The series is Reading's to lose. The most you can hope for is that it isn't a sweep.
