i think the fact that it was matt cooke makes it at least 50x better

I voted for Evander Kane's obliteration of Matt Cooke. Its nice to see a guy who's not known for fighting put someone to sleep. The most satisfying KO that I have seen in some time. No one is more deserving of a jaw shattering right cross than Cooke. The greatest part about it was that he went looking for that one. He thought he could bully around Kane who is a great player but coming up in the Dub made him no one trick pony. He asked for it, and he got it.

Ok for pure KO city I had to give it to Kane .....Plus cooke was definately lookin for it...........But for Ko embarASSment.........Having your arms out like a baby asking to be picked up for MAMA is as SWEET as it gets!!!!!! Sorry Carkner!!!!!

This is no contest. Those were all fine choices, but I bet there were even players on the Penguins happy to see Cooke go lights out, not to mention the rest of the league and fans.

When a scumbag like Cooke is sent to la-la-land like that, you cannot mistake: that is the KO of the year. When I saw him going down like the sack of **** he is, it was pure poetry.
