IMO the Kane KO was far more shocking than the Shelley KO. Everybody already knew that Shelley was a badass and that Orr always leaves himself wide open.

Nobody had a clue that Evander Kane could punch like that. The fact that he sent one of the biggest scumbags in the league out on a stretcher was just the icing on the cake.

Carcillo/Bradley was really a sucker punch. I don't know if that's fair to put on here.

Man, Colton Orr drops a lot of people but he is starting to get dropped pretty often himself.

Kane/Cook was the biggest KO punch of the year for sure.

I have to give it to Kane. He's the only one who's not a fighter. I think he's only had 10 fights in his career including the minors. Only 2 fights in the NHL. And his KO was classic movie scenario. Cooke of all people with his reputation of cheap shots, got his just desserts.

Went with Carkner Vs Orr. Then Shelley Vs Orr all heavyweights all the time!. The Carcilla KO of Bradley was not a heavyweight KO it was a snake cheap shot. And The Kane on Cooke was by principal.

Good choices here, but I don't think there is to much doubt, the Kane/Cooke KO is the winner.

I really liked the Orr/Carkner and then the Orr/Shelley sequence - but too many fans have been waiting for too long to see what happened to Cooke - courtesy of a rookie no less!

This was the easiest one to vote for, imo.
