Bieksa's fight card doesn't even come close to Lucic's. Lucic is a much bigger guy and is generally facing much more stiff competition.

I don't know -- Lucic is a better fighter and a bigger guy, but his opponents don't necessarily portray that.

We're talking about spotpicking.

So you agree that he is the best skilled fighter ? Cam Neely Award?

72 GP. 17 goals, 42 points. 260 Hits. 20 years old. Ya... He is miles behind everyone else.

65% of the vote. Mike Richards? Thanks for coming out

At least you admit he his about 1/2 as productive as the other forwards on the list. So if they are 1/2 as good as Looch with the gloves off does that mean it's a tie?

Twice as productive eh? I didn't realize all the people on the list had 100 point seasons. Maybe I don't follow the league as close i thought i did.

Shouldn't this poll be called the Mark Messier award? Poor Cam Neely couldn't even average a point a game in his career while Messier was putting up 100 point seasons (2nd all time in scoring) afterall... Messier DID fight on a somewhat average basis right? Neely would kick his ass 10/10 but apparently that doesn't mean much to you when it comes to voting.

Richards = 80pts
Iginla = 89pts
Hartnell = 60pts

Average of 76.33pts. Lucic had 42pts which is pretty freakin close to 1/2 of 76.33 (55%). Are you telling me that Richards, Iginla and Hartnell aren't at least 55% as effective as Looch with the gloves off? Remember, Hartnell accepted the challenge of a top ranked HW (Godard).

You do realize that BamBam Cam was a three time fifty goal scorer.

I think Looch is a solid player (don't tell Clyde). I just don't think he falls into the skilled category yet, IMO.

I voted for Mike Richards because I thought he had the best combination of offensive skill, defensive skill, and fighting skill.

Good for you. The fact remains Lucic IS listed in this category regardless and he is easily the best fighter on this list. End of story.

Yah... and he didn't win a fight all year... Good Call.

Yet he's the least skilled..
hmmmmmmmm
Like, he's far and beyond the least skilled player on the least, and no he isn't easily the best fighter.
Iginla and Bieksa both are close enough that they wouldn't get destroyed in a fight.

Lucic would easily beat Bieksa. Iginla would be a little closer but Lucic is still much tougher.

Regardless that is irrelevant. He is easily the best fighter on this list.

I like how you state that like its fact.
Look at Iginlas card, he's faught quite a few of the same people as Lucic, and beaten most of them aswell.
Lucic isn't that much a better fighter then Iginla, Bieksa maybe. But he wouldn't "easily" beat either of them.

It is a fact. Nobody on that list is tougher than Lucic. Iginla is one of my favorite players in the league, however his card isn't overly impressive at all. He's tough but he is certainly overrated by many in the fighting department.

And Bieksa isn't even close to Lucic in the fighting department. That comment is laughable.
