This is a tough one for me. I jumped on Godards wagon early in the season and it was a good ride since my favorite fighter (mcGrattan) was taking the year off. Belaks KO of Brashear was a thing of beauty but I personally think that Godards on Orr was just as impressive. Long story short is that up until that TKO Orr owned Godard and basically sent him out of long island. Orr put two brutal tko's on Godard a few years back and Godard struggled for quite a while after that. He signed with the flames and spent a better part of a year in the minors. Godard has now come full circle and established himself a top 5 guy that not many will bang with. Edge Godard for thumping a prime Orr. Brashear is still good but not the fighter he once was imo.

Belak gets the Nod
For as much as I enjoyed Godard knocking Orr to his knees, the year's best has to be Belak decisively defeating Brash. Though he wasn't completely out cold, the was hardest I've seen Brash hit the ice, since McSorely whacked him on the side of his peach. This time, it was a fair fight and all-around great battle.
